Police from the Campsie Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding an armed robbery in Narwee overnight.
About 9.40pm (Monday 14 November 2011) two men armed with a silver handgun entered a service station on Broadarrow Road.
The men threatened the male console operator with the firearm before fleeing the scene on foot with a sum of cash.
No one was injured during the robbery.
One of the men has been described as being of Middle Eastern/ Mediterranean in appearance, about 180-185cm tall and wearing a blue ‘hoodie’ with grey track pants. He had a white shirt or cloth covering his face.
The second man was also believed to be of Middle Eastern/ Mediterranean in appearance and he was said to be wearing a black ‘hoodie’ with a white cap and white t-shirt or cloth covering his face.
