Police are investigating the robbery of a woman as she walked down a street at Robertson yesterday afternoon.
Around 1pm the woman was walking along Marla Street when she was approached by a man asking for the time. As the woman started to walk away after providing the time the man grabbed her handbag.
The woman attempted to keep hold of her handbag and a brief struggle ensued, ending when she was pushed to the ground.
The woman was not injured.
The man was last seen running along Marla Street and on to Chauvin Street before heading left towards Mains Road.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 180cm tall and of solid build with blonde hair. He was wearing a black shirt and when last seen was carrying a blue handbag
