Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at a BP Service Station in Smithfield overnight. At about 12.15am, two men, both armed with knives entered the Main North Road station, threatened staff and demanded cash and cigarettes.
The men fled with an amount of money and packets of cigarettes and were seen getting into a car – possibly a silver BMW.
No one was physically injured.
One of the suspects is described as a man of Caucasian appearance, approximately 183cm tall, wearing a light blue hooded jumper and a blue bandana.
The second suspect had tanned skin, wearing a black hooded jumper with white writing on the front, sunglasses and had something covering his mouth.
