19 April 2017 – Arrest – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Toowoomba

Police have charged a man following an armed robbery at a convenience store in Toowoomba this morning.
It is alleged about 11.15am, a man entered the business on Greenwattle Street and threatened a staff member, claiming to have a firearm concealed in his clothing.
It will be further alleged the man demanded money from the staff member and fled the scene with a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
As a result of police investigations a man was located and arrested at an address on Coonan Street in Harlaxton.
A 26-year-old Wilsonton man has been charged with one count each of enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence, armed robbery and obstruct police.
He is due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court tomorrow.
7 April 2017 – Update – CCTV Released – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Dakabin
Published April 8, 2017 | Police investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store at Dakabin overnight have released images of two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
Around 6.30pm, two men entered the shop on Whitehorse Road and approached the counter.
One of the men produced a knife and demanded cash from two female attendants.
The attendants opened the till, and the men took a sum of cash as well as cigarettes before fleeing the scene on foot. They were last seen heading towards Marsden Road.
One man is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 183cm tall with a medium build, aged in his 20s and was wearing a black long sleeved t-shirt, blue jeans, white runners and had a white shirt wrapped around his head and face.
The second man is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 183cm tall with a solid build, aged in his 20s and was wearing a grey hooded jumper, black “Everlast” branded track pants, black shoes and had a scarf with a skull motif covering his face.

Around 6.30pm two men who had their faces covered with clothing entered the shop on Whitehorse Road and approached the counter.

They opened the till and the men took a sum of cash as well as cigarettes and fled the scene on foot.

30 March 2017 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Jindalee
Published April 2, 2017 | Detectives are investigating following the armed robbery of a convenience store at Jindalee overnight.
Initial investigations indicate at around 10pm three men entered the business on Looranah Street armed with a screwdriver, a hammer and a crow bar.
The group demanded money from staff members before forcing staff into a back room and fleeing the scene in a black sedan with a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
The three men are described as aged in their early 20s and wearing balaclavas. Their vehicle is described as a black sedan.
28 March 2017 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Logan Central
Published April 2, 2017 | A 24-year-old man has been charged following an alleged armed robbery at a convenience store in Logan Central this afternoon.
It will be alleged at 3.25pm, a man armed with a knife entered the Ewing Road grocery shop, threatened a female employee and demanded cash.
It will be further alleged he left the store on foot with a sum of money.
A male staff member followed the man, and apprehended him until police arrived.
A 24-year-old Marsden man is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow charged with armed robbery, possessing a knife and authority required to possess explosives.
30 March 2017 – Update – CCTV Released – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Berkeley Vale
Published April 2, 2017 | Police continue their investigations into an armed hold up of a convenience store at Berkeley Vale last week.
About 7pm on Saturday 25th March 2017, a man armed with a machete entered the store.
He approached the counter and demanded cash from the till and the employee.
The employee complied with the demands and was assaulted suffering an injury to his hand.
The man ran from the store with an amount of cash and was last seen heading across Lakedge Avenue.
Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command have released an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 20 to 30 years of age, with a slim build, and between 190 and 200cms tall.
The man was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper, dark long pants, red Nike joggers and had his face covered.
28 March 2017 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Berkeley Vale
Published April 2, 2017 | Police are appealing for information following the armed hold up of a convenience store at Berkeley Vale last week.
About 6.55pm on Saturday 25th March 2017, a man armed with a machete entered the store.
He approached the counter and demanded cash from the till and the employee.
The employee complied and the man demanded more money. The employee told police he was then assaulted.
The man ran from the store and was last seen heading across Lakedge Avenue in a south easterly direction.
The employee received treatment for an injury to his hand.
Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command were notified of the incident and established a crime scene.
Investigators would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 20 to 30 years of age, with a slim build, and between 190 and 200cms tall.
The man was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper, dark long pants, red Nike joggers and had his face covered.
5 March 2017 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – North Lakes
Published March 10, 2017 | Detectives are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store in North Lakes last night.
Preliminary information suggests around 10.30pm a man walked into the College Street business, approached the counter and produced a knife from his backpack, demanding money.
The 23-year-old female store attendant complied and the man fled the premises with a sum of cash.
He was wearing all black clothing and had his face covered.
Investigations are continuing. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
12 February 2017 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Eastern Heights
Published February 17, 2017 | A man has been charged following an armed robbery that occurred yesterday afternoon at Eastern Heights.
A man entered a convenience store on Cemetery Road yesterday at 1.20pm and it will be alleged that he produced a knife and made demands for cash.
The male attendant gave the man a sum of cash and he then fled the scene on foot.
A 32-year-old man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on February 13.
