Police have charged a man following an armed robbery at a convenience store in Toowoomba this morning.
It is alleged about 11.15am, a man entered the business on Greenwattle Street and threatened a staff member, claiming to have a firearm concealed in his clothing.
It will be further alleged the man demanded money from the staff member and fled the scene with a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
As a result of police investigations a man was located and arrested at an address on Coonan Street in Harlaxton.
A 26-year-old Wilsonton man has been charged with one count each of enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence, armed robbery and obstruct police.
He is due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court tomorrow.

The attendants opened the till, and the men took a sum of cash as well as cigarettes before fleeing the scene on foot. They were last seen heading towards Marsden Road.
One man is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 183cm tall with a medium build, aged in his 20s and was wearing a black long sleeved t-shirt, blue jeans, white runners and had a white shirt wrapped around his head and face.
The second man is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 183cm tall with a solid build, aged in his 20s and was wearing a grey hooded jumper, black “Everlast” branded track pants, black shoes and had a scarf with a skull motif covering his face.

Initial investigations indicate at around 10pm three men entered the business on Looranah Street armed with a screwdriver, a hammer and a crow bar.
The group demanded money from staff members before forcing staff into a back room and fleeing the scene in a black sedan with a sum of cash.

The three men are described as aged in their early 20s and wearing balaclavas. Their vehicle is described as a black sedan.
