An 18-year-old man has been charged following the armed robbery of a liquor store in Caboolture on Monday afternoon.

Around 3pm, two men entered the McKean Street business, where police will allege that one produced a handgun.

It will be further alleged that they threatened the male attendant, before leaving the store on foot with a sum of cash and alcohol.

An 18-year-old Caboolture man has been charged with one count each of enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence, armed robbery and common assault.

He will appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Investigations are continuing.

Police investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Caboolture yesterday afternoon have released images of two men who may be able to assist with inquiries.

Around 3pm, two men entered the McKean Street business and one of the men produced a handgun.

The first man is described as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged in his early 30s, approximately 170cm with a solid build and black hair.

The second man is described as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, approximately 20-years-old, 165cm tall with a slim build.

Investigations are continuing.

Police are investigating after two men robbed a bottle shop in Caboolture this afternoon.

Around 3pm, two men entered the McKean Street business and one of the men produced a handgun.

The men threatened the store employee before fleeing the store on foot with a sum of cash and alcohol.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The first man is described as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged in his early 30s, approximately 170cm with a solid build and black hair.

The second man is described as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, approximately 20-years-old, 165cm tall with a slim build.

Investigations are continuing.

Police have released images of two men wanted in relation to an aggravated robbery at Salisbury Friday night.

Just before 9pm, two men entered the drive-thru one of the men assaulted the shop assistant before taking a small amount of alcohol. The victim received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The suspects were last seen on foot heading south on Park Terrace, a police dog attended but could not locate the suspects.

Both suspects are described as being Caucasian, mid 20’s, 175cm tall, slim fit build with short hair. Both men were covering their faces with black t-shirts and not wearing any tops.

One of the men had brown hair the other had fair hair.

Police are investigating after a bottle shop in Dalby was robbed yesterday afternoon.

Around 3.40pm, a man entered the Condamine Street business armed with a metal bar and approached the female employee at the counter.

The man threatened the employee before removing the till from under the counter and fleeing the store on foot.

He was last seen heading north on Condamine Street.

No one was physically injured during the robbery.

The man is descried as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 165cm tall with a slim build.

Investigations are continuing.

Police have arrested two men in relation to a bottle shop armed robbery near Lake Macquarie last night.

About 7.30pm (Saturday 8 February), a man armed with a knife entered a bottle shop on Walmsley Street in Dora Creek.

The man threatened staff and left the scene with cash and a bottle of alcohol. He left the scene in a dark green Holden which was being driven by another man.

A highway patrol officer from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command stopped the Holden for a traffic offence on Wyee Road.

He discovered the car matched the description of the one used in the robbery and both men inside were arrested.

The pair, aged 34 and 29, was taken to Toronto Police Station.

They will be charged over the armed robbery and will appear at Newcastle Local Court later today.

A Kepnock bottle shop was robbed last night by a man armed with a machete.

Preliminary information indicates that a man wearing a balaclava entered the Elliott Heads Road business around 7pm.

The man stole money from the cash register before fleeing on foot.

A female store attendant was not physically injured and police investigations are continuing.

The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 175cms tall with a proportionate build.

ACT Policing is investigating two north side ram raids and an aggravated burglary which occurred early this morning (Wednesday 29 January).

About 2.35am Police identified a stolen white Holden Commodore driving along William Slim Drive, Giralang, however police lost sight of the vehicle.

A short time later a ram raid involving the stolen vehicle was reported at the Kaleen Plaza, BWS. The front doors had been pushed in causing extensive damage and several bottles of alcohol were taken.

About 3.05am, an aggravated burglary was reported at a residence in Giralang. Two males were disturbed inside the premises with one of the male offenders alluding he had a gun before fleeing the premises. Police believe the offenders to be linked to the ram raids.

About 3.30am the stolen white Holden Commodore was located parked a short distance from the Kaleen Plaza. The vehicle was seized by police and transported to the Exhibition Management Centre.

After the vehicle was located a further ram raid was reported at the Evatt shops. CCTV vision of the incident showed that the ram raid occurred around 2.30am and the same stolen vehicle was used.

Police are appealing for information after an armed robbery at a bottle shop in Wamberal yesterday (Tuesday 21 January 2014).

About 8.30pm a man entered the bottle shop on the Central Coast Highway and threatened a 63-year-old female employee with a knife. After obtaining an amount of money the man left the store.

He was last seen running along Pitt Road.

The man has been described being of Caucasian appearance, aged about 20 – 25 years old, with olive skin, and a Mohawk style haircut.

He was wearing a purple, hooded jumper and black tracksuit pants.

The store employee was not hurt and police inquiries into the incident continue.
