Police are investigating a robbery at the Boathouse Tavern on Victoria Road, Osborne last night.
At about 11pm, a man armed with a knife demanded cash from staff at the drive-thru bottle shop. He fled with an amount of cash and was last seen heading towards Moldavia Walk on foot.
The robber had his head covered with a dark jumper, but is described as being 40 to 55 years old, 170cm tall, with a dark complexion, stocky build and was wearing a white dress shirt with grey checks, black suit-like trousers and smart black shoes.
No one was injured during the robbery.

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at a bottle shop in Elizabeth Downs last night. Around 9.45pm three men, one armed with a bat, entered the Midway Hotel drive-through, threatened staff and demanded money. The suspects ran off with an amount of cash and were last seen heading north towards Yorketown Road. The suspects are all described as men, varying between 157cm – 167cm tall with slim builds. Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at a hotel in Prospect overnight. Just after 9.30pm, two men entered the bottle shop of the Reepham Hotel on Churchill Road and threatened staff. One of the suspects was armed with a screwdriver and the other with a tomahawk. The men left on foot with an amount of cash, cigarettes and alcohol and were last seen on Regency Road. They are both described as being about 30 years, 170cm tall with dark skin. One was wearing a grey long sleeved jumper, light blue jeans and black Nike runners. He also had a grey scarf covering his face. The other suspect was wearing a black long sleeved hooded top, dark denim jeans and black shoes. Police are investigating the armed robbery of a bottle shop in Boondall yesterday afternoon.
Around 5.40pm, a man entered the Sandgate Road business and approached a male employee at the counter.
The man produced a knife and made demands for money.
The employee complied and opened the cash register, allowing the offender to take a sum of money before fleeing the store on foot.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, 175cm tall and of muscular build. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, a blue t-shirt, dark pants and thongs.
Investigations are continuing.
Police are investigating after a Palm Beach bottle shop was robbed last night.
Around 8pm a man entered the Townson Avenue store armed with a knife and confronted one of the two attendants demanding money.
After taking cash from the register the man then fled the store.
The two attendants in the store at the time were not physically harmed.
The man is described as 175cm tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper with the hood up, shorts and sunglasses
Police are investigating the armed robbery of a bottle shop in Mackay earlier today.
Around 12.25pm a man entered the Nebo Road store before approaching the checkout where he threatened the female attendant with a screw driver and demanded cash.
The man fled on foot with a sum of cash, cigarettes, liquor and soft drink.
The attendant was not physically injured.
The man is described a Caucasian in appearance, aged in his mid-thirties, 180-190cms tall, heavy build with short brown hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt with a ‘Tapout’ insignia on the front and three quarter length black shorts and rubber thongs.

Police have released CCTV images of a person who investigators would like to speak to, following an attempted armed robbery and stabbing near Toronto earlier this week.
About 7pm on Monday 2 September 2013, a man entered a bottle shop on Haydenbrook Road at Woodrising and threatened the male owner with a knife.
He demanding money and a scuffle ensued between the pair. The shop owner was stabbed a number of times during the altercation and the man fled a short time later.
Police attached to Lake Macquarie Local Area Command were called to the location and launched an investigation into the incident.
The shop owner was treated by Ambulance Paramedics at the scene, before being taken to John Hunter Hospital. He remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Detectives have now released images of a man, who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 25 years of age, approximately 175cm tall, with a solid/muscular build and short blonde hair.
Police are appealing for information after the armed robbery of a bottle shop in Sydney’s west this week.
Just before 8pm on Tuesday 20 August 2013, three men entered the business, which is located within a shopping centre on Dunheved Road.
Police have been told one of the men approached the counter, while a second prevented the automatic doors from closing, and the third brandished a firearm.
The first man told the two female staff members to empty the cash registers.
The men then left the shop with an amount of cash and bottles of alcohol.
They were last seen running towards a laneway attached to the shopping-centre car park.
Police attended and established a crime scene.
Officers and a police dog searched the area, but did not locate the men.
Detectives from St Marys Local Area Command are continuing investigations into the robbery, and would like to speak with three men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The first man is described as being 175 to 180cm tall and with a slim build. At the time, this man was wearing a light-coloured hooded jacket and a dark-coloured tracksuit.
The second is described as being 175 to 180cm tall light. He was wearing a coloured jumper, a balaclava, and dark-coloured track pants with stripe down the side.
The third man is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance. He was wearing a light-coloured hooded jumper, a balaclava, dark-coloured tracksuit pants and joggers.
Police are searching for a man following an armed robbery of a liquor store on Kersley Road at Kenmore.
About 8pm last night a man armed with a small knife approached a female employee and demanded money and cigarettes.
The employee complied and the man fled the store on foot with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes.
There were no injuries.
The man was wearing a hooded jumper with a high visibility shirt covering his face.
Holden Hill Police have released CCTV images of people wanted over three recent separate thefts of alcohol from bottle shops in the north eastern suburbs.
At about 10.20pm, on Saturday 10 August two men attended a bottle shop on Main North Road, Blair Athol and allegedly stole two bottles of spirits.
