Police are investigating following an armed robbery that occurred last night in Manunda.
Officers were called around 7.50pm following reports that a bottle shop on English Street had been robbed.
Initial information suggests that a man entered the business armed with bladed weapon and made demands for cash.
The male attendant complied and the man fled the scene with a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured as a result.
The man is believed to be Caucasian, around 180cms tall, aged between 40 to 50 years, was wearing a baseball cap and had his face covered.
Investigations are continuing.
Southern Metro Region Crime Team detectives are seeking public assistance to help solve a series of armed robberies that have occurred in the southern and eastern suburbs of Melbourne across a period of almost two years.
Investigators believe two men have targeted bottle shops, petrol stations and fast-food restaurants in incidents dating back to January 2016 and as recent as August 2017.
It is believed the pair are responsible for about 20 armed robberies.
A bottle shop on Centre Road, near Melaleuca Drive, has been the target of the offenders on four separate occasions with the most recent armed robbery occurring on 3 August.
Police have released CCTV and images of two men who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
One of the men is perceived to be of African appearance, the other is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance.
Both men appear to be aged in their early twenties.

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at Leeton yesterday.
About 1pm, (5 November 2017), a Holden Rodeo utility has driven into the drive-through section of a liquor store on Sycamore Street.
Two men with their faces covered left the passenger-side of the vehicle and ran into the store and confronted a 22-year-old female worker with a knife.
The men took cash, cigarettes and the woman’s handbag before running back to the waiting vehicle which drove off with the men.
The woman was not injured during the incident.
Officers from Griffith Local Area Command attended and commenced investigations.
Inquiries have established that the Holden Rodeo, with NSW registration WQL481, was stolen.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the vehicle or the men to contact Leeton Police or Crime Stoppers.
Information can be given confidentially.
Logan detectives investigating an alleged robbery at Crestmead this evening have charged a man with armed robbery.
It will be alleged a man entered a Waratah Drive bottle shop around 6.30pm and was confronted by a 29-year-old male employee when he tried to walk out without paying for some alcohol a short time later.
A 60-year-old local man, a customer in the store, seeing what was occurring, followed the man outside and attempted to restrain him.
During a brief altercation it will be alleged the 60-year-old man received a significant laceration to his arm from a bladed weapon, before the other man fled the scene, leaving behind the alcohol.
Following investigations Logan detectives arrested a 20-year-old Waterford West man and charged him with armed robbery and immediately after wounded another.
He was denied police bail and is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow morning, October 19.
The injured man was transported to hospital with a non-life threatening arm injury.
Police are investigating after a business was robbed tonight at Grange.
Initial inquires indicate around 9pm a man has entered a bottle shop on Grange Road and threatened a male staff member with a knife, demanding money.
The staff member complied and the man left the store with a sum of cash.
He is described as 170cm tall, Caucasian in appearance and a slim build.
Anyone who has further information or dashcam or CCTV vision which may assist is asked to contact police.

Initial information suggests that three men entered a bottle shop on Townson Avenue at around 6.10pm.
One of the men produced a metal bar and threatened the male attendant in the shop before the trio fled the scene with a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a bottle shop in Benowa this evening.
Initial investigations indicate at 8.50pm, two men entered the premises on Benowa Road, one armed with a knife, while the male attendant was in a rear room.
When the attendant exited the room into the shop, he saw the men stealing alcohol from the shelves. One of the men pointed the knife at him before they both fled the scene.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Just before 11pm on Thursday 7 September, a man allegedly armed with a knife stole cash and a bottle of wine from the drive-thru before leaving on foot.
Fortunately, no one was injured during the robbery.
Police quickly arrived at the scene and searched the area and located the suspect a few minutes later at a nearby hotel and arrested. The money and wine were recovered.

Two teens and a man have been arrested following a robbery at an Elizabeth bottle shop last night.
It will be alleged just before 7pm, Monday 28 August, four males entered the shop, one man threatened staff with a baseball bat while the others stole alcohol and cigarettes. Thankfully the victim was not physically injured.
Patrols and PolAir quickly searched the area and with the help of Police Dog Iggy a baseball bat and some stolen property was located in a nearby garden.
Detectives from Elizabeth CIB subsequently searched homes at Andrews Farm and Elizabeth East before arresting two boys and a man.
A 12-year-old boy from Andrews Farm, a 15-year-old boy and 36-year-old man from Elizabeth East have all been charged with aggravated robbery. They have all been refused police bail, the boys will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court and the man will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today.
Investigations are continuing to locate the fourth suspect.
