Police are investigating after an armed robbery at a Dinmore service station tonight.
About 9pm a man has entered the Brisbane Road store and threated a female staff member with a knife, demanding money.
The staff member has complied and the man fled on foot with a sum of cash.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 177cm high and medium build.
The 21-year-old staff member was not physically injured during the incident.
Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at a Mount Gambier service station early this morning.
Just after 3.30am police were called to a service station on the corner of Commercial Street East and Crouch Street North after reports three men, one armed with a knife, entered the business and threatened a staff member.
The three men ran off after stealing money and cigarettes.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
Detectives from Mount Gambier CIB are investigating the incident.
Detectives have charged a man following an alleged attempted robbery in Waterford West early this morning.
Police will allege at around 1:30am a man entered a service station on Chambers Flat Road and produced a knife before demanding cigarettes from a male staff member.
When the staff member refused the man fled the scene on foot.
The 21-year-old staff member was not physically injured during the incident.
Police have later located a man at an address in Logan Reserve where he was taken into custody without incident.
A 20-year-old Logan Reserve man has been charged with one count of attempted armed robbery.
He is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today, July 4.
Police are investigating a robbery at a service station in Queenstown this evening.
At 7pm, police were called to the service station on Port Road after reports a man had entered the store and threatened staff with a knife. He left the store with cash.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The Caucasian man was wearing dark blue track pants and a fluoro hooded worksmans top.
He was seen getting into a silver sedan parked nearby on Myhill Crescent.
Southern Metropolitan Regional Crime Team investigators as part of Operation Cosmas have arrested and charged two people today following a series of incidents across Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs.
Police arrested a 19-year-old Moe man and a 17-year-old Dandenong boy following a short foot pursuit through bushland near Dandenong Creek in Dandenong shortly after 9.15am.
The pair have been charged with armed robbery, theft of motor car, theft, criminal damage by fire, conduct endangering life and possess proceeds of crime.
The charges relate to a number of incidents including:
• An alleged armed robbery at a bottle shop on Springvale Road, Springvale about 11pm on 2 July;
• An alleged armed robbery where a vehicle was stolen on David Street, Dandenong about 10.45pm on 4 July;
• An alleged armed robbery at a service station on Heatherton Road, Springvale about 11.45pm on 4 July;
• An alleged pursuit on Chandler Road, Noble Park about 11.55pm on 4 July; and
• A car fire near Dandenong Creek, Dandenong Street in Dandenong about 9.15am today.
The 19-year old is likely to face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
The 17-year-old has been remanded to face a Children’s Court at a later date.
Frankston Embona detectives have arrested a 46-year-old man over an attempted armed robbery which occurred in Frankston last week.
Police have been told a man entered a service station on Nepean Highway armed with a knife about 5pm on Wednesday 22 June.
The man approached the attendant where he produced a knife and made demands for cash and cigarettes.
The staff member was able to flee to a back room and lock the door.
Police believe the man cut his hand when he stabbed the knife into a door, before leaving the scene empty handed. The staff member was not injured in the incident.
The Frankston man was arrested and interviewed last night.
He has been charged with attempted armed robbery and common law assault.
He has been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Police have charged two males following an alleged armed robbery at a service station in the state’s Central West this week.
About 8.20pm on Monday 4 July 2016, two males, one armed with a knife, allegedly entered the store on Woodward Road, Orange, threatening the 33-year-old employee and demanding money.
The armed men left the scene with cash and cigarettes.
The employee was not injured.
Officers from Canobolas Local Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.
Following inquiries, police executed a search warrant at a home on Avondale Avenue, Orange, yesterday (Tuesday 5 July 2016).
During the search, cash and cigarettes were located and seized.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested at the location.
Shortly afterwards, police attended a home on Kent Street, Orange, and arrested an 18-year-old man.
Both males were taken to Orange Police Station and charged with robbery whilst armed with an offensive weapon.
The 18-year-old was refused bail to appear at Orange Local Court today (Wednesday 6 July 2016).
The 16-year-old was refused bail to appear at a children’s court today (Wednesday 6 July 2016).
Police have charged a man following investigations into two armed robberies in the Central Hunter area last month.
The first robbery occurred at a service station on the Pacific Highway, Heatherbrae, about 9.20pm on Tuesday June 7 2016.
A man allegedly armed with a syringe containing what appeared to be blood, entered the store and threatened the attendant while demanding money.
The man left the store with cash.
The second incident occurred about an hour later, at a service station on the New England Highway.
It’s alleged a man matching the same description entered the service station armed with a syringe and demanded cash from the store attendant.
He left the premises with cash and cigarettes.
Following investigations by police from Newcastle Local Area Command, an 18-year-old man was arrested yesterday afternoon (Monday 4 July 2016) and taken to Newcastle Police Station where he was charged with two counts of robbery armed with offensive weapon.
He was refused bail and will appear at Newcastle Local Court on Wednesday 13 July, 2016.

About 11.05pm on Thursday 23rd June 2016, a man armed with a screwdriver entered the store on Punchbowl Road, Lakemba and demanded money from the till.
An employee locked himself in a store room and the man fled the store empty-handed.
Officers from Campsie Local Area Command are continuing with inquiries and have now released CCTV images and footage of a man who they believe can assist with inquiries.
The man is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 175cm – 180cm tall, and with a medium build.
He is depicted wearing a black jumper with a grey hood, black tracksuit pants with white and yellow stripes on the lower portion of each leg and blue runners (similar to Asics pictured).
Police are urging anyone who recognises the man to contact police.
