Elizabeth Police are investigating a service station robbery last night at Davoren Park Just after 9pm, a man armed with a knife threatened a console operator at the BP ‘On the Run’ on Peachey Road demanding cash. The suspect described as Caucasian about 35-40 years 170-180cms, slim build, wearing a grey hooded top and blue jeans, fled on foot with a small amount of cash down Peachey Road. Police are at the scene of an aggravated robbery at BP on the Run, Edwardstown.
At about 9.55am, a man entered the Daws Road store armed with a knife, threatened staff and demanded money.
The suspect fled the store with an amount of money and was chased by a member of the public.
The suspect was last seen running south on Henden Street.
Dog Operations are on their way to assist with the search.
The suspect is described as a man of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, slim build, and he was wearing a white hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants and a mask covering part of his face.
Police are investigating possible links to another aggravated robbery which occurred in the early hours of the morning at a BP on the Run in St Marys.

At about 3.50am, a man entered the South Road store with part of his face covered, threatened staff with a knife and demanded money. The suspect took off with a small amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident. Patrols with the assistance of dog operations, searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a man of Caucasian appearance, approximately 172cm-178cm tall with a slim build. Frankston Embona Armed Robbery Taskforce detectives have charged a man following three armed robberies at service stations in Frankston over the past three weeks.
The alleged incidents occurred at businesses on the Nepean Highway in Frankston on 30 March, on the Moorooduc Highway in Frankston on 4 April and on the Nepean Highway in Frankston on 9 April.
Police arrested the 23-year-old at a house in Frankston this afternoon.
The Frankston man was interviewed and charged with three counts of armed robbery.
Mark Roberts faced an out of session’s court hearing this evening and has been remanded in custody.
He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Police are appealing for information following the armed robbery of a service station.
About 10.15pm yesterday (Tuesday 22 April 2014), two males armed with knives, entered the service station on Amy Street, Regents Park, and threatened a male employee.
The offenders took cigarettes and money and then left the location in a vehicle which was waiting nearby.
There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
Police attached to Flemington Local Area Command were alerted to the incident and conducted a patrol of the area; however the vehicle and offenders could not be located.
A crime scene was established and investigations into the incident continue.
Police have charged a man in relation to the attempted armed robbery of a service station at Miami last night.
It is alleged around 9.50pm a man armed with a knife entered the Gold Coast Highway premises and made demands for money from the male console operator.
Another male employee of the service station confronted the man with a large pole. The man fled the scene in a car without obtaining any money.
Around 10.20pm a police officer on patrol intercepted the vehicle on the Gold Coast Highway at Miami.
The offender was taken into custody and his vehicle searched where it is alleged the knife was located.
A 31-year-old Mermaid Beach man has been charged with attempted armed robbery.
He is due to face Southport Magistrates Court today.
