Police are at the scene of an aggravated robbery at a Glenside petrol station. Just before 7.30pm, a man armed with a knife entered the Greenhill Road petrol station, threatened staff and demanded money. Thankfully the victim was not physically injured. The suspect fled on foot with cash. Police are in the area searching for the suspect; who is described as a man of Caucasian appearance aged in his early 30s. On Monday 23 September 2013 at approximately 2am an Armed Robbery occurred at the 24 hour BP service Station at St Helens. The BP Service Station is situated in Circassian Street.
An unknown female offender approached the glass front door and the attendant opened the door remotely, a male offender then ran across the forecourt and into the store. Both offenders had their faces covered by clothing. The female then remained at the glass door while the male offender who was holding what appeared to be a firearm approached the attendant and demanded money.
The small amount of cash that was in the cash register was handed to the offender and they both left the scene on foot.
Local police attended the scene and a search was conducted. Forensic Police from Launceston also attended. Northern Criminal Investigation Police are attending the scene this morning and enquiries are continuing.
No one was injuried in relation to this incident.
Police have released a CCTV image as part of investigations into an armed robbery at Wyong last weekend.
About 12:40am on Saturday 14 September 2013, two males entered a service station on the Pacific Highway and approached the counter.
One of the males jumped over the counter and threatened the cashier, a 20-year-old man, with a knife.
He took an amount of cash before both males left the business, running west towards Watanobbi.
Police from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation into the incident.
Investigators today (Friday 20 September 2013) released a CCTV image of two people who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The two people depicted are both described as being male, of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, with a slim to medium build, and aged 18 to 20.
Holden Hill Police have released CCTV photos of a man who robbed a Enfield Serivce Station last night.
Just after 7.30pm, a man wearing an orange hooded top and armed with a meat cleaver threatened a console operator at a Caltex Service Station on Main North Road at Enfield.
The male suspect described as dark complexion aged about 35-40 years, 183cms, slim build with a goatee beard wearing a orange hooded top with a black stripe down the centre of the hood and a light coloured motif across the chest, blue jeans and carrying a bum bag around his waist.
He fled on foot with cash from the till last seen running south on Main North Road.

A teenager has been charged over an alleged armed robbery and police pursuit near Wollongong early this month.
About 5.20am on Monday 2 September 2013, three males entered a service station on Balgownie Road at Balgownie.
It’s alleged one of the males threatened the attendant with a knife and demanded cash, while a second male ordered the attendant to hand over packets of cigarettes.
The trio later fled the location. No one was injured during the incident.
Police attached to Wollongong Local Area Command attended and launched an investigation.
A crime scene was established and examined by specialist forensic officers.
About 9.30pm last night (Wednesday 18 September 2013), police observed a white Mazda –reported stolen in a separate incident – on Robert Cram Drive at Bellambi.
Officers attempted to stop the car a short time later, before a pursuit was initiated.
The vehicle was stopped on Park Road at Corrimal, where police arrested the 17-year-old male driver.
He was taken to Wollongong Police Station and charged with robbery in company, steal motor vehicle (x2) and police pursuit (Skye’s Law).
He was refused bail to appear in court today (Thursday 19 September 2013).
Police are seeking the assistance of the public following an armed robbery at Sanctuary Point on the state’s south coast.
About 9pm on Sunday 15 September, 2013, an employee from a service station on Larmer Avenue, went outside to check the pumps.
As he left the front door he was approached by a male who threatened him with a metal pole and forced him inside and money was demanded.
Two other male offenders, one armed with a knife, also followed them inside the store. An amount of money was handed over and the trio left through the front door and headed towards a nearby golf course.
Police attended and a crime scene was established. No one was injured.
Police are now searching for three men who may be able to assist with inquiries.
All men were wearing dark hooded jumpers and dark pants with their faces covered. They all had medium to solid builds. One of the men was about 190cm tall.

Police are appealing for information following an alleged armed robbery in Port Kembla yesterday.
About 10.15pm (Thursday 12 September 2013), a 61-year-old man was working in a service station on Church Street, when two men entered the store, armed with a knife and a black firearm.
The man holding the firearm allegedly demanded money and cigarettes from the man.
The man handed over a quantity of cash and cigarettes and the men fled the scene, heading east on Church Street, towards Wentworth Street.
Police were called and a crime scene was established.
Both men are described as being of thin build, 20-25 years old and approximately 166cm tall.
One man was wearing a black hooded jumper, blue long pants, white runners with two black stripes, a yellow and light brown baseball cap under his hood, maroon-coloured material covering his mouth and nose, and he was carrying a black sports bag.
The second man was seen wearing a black hooded jumper, grey pants, grey walking shoes with white rimed soles, white-coloured material covering his mouth and nose, and a black baseball cap.
A man and a teenager have been charged following the alleged armed robbery of a service station at East Toowoomba overnight.
It will be alleged around midnight two males entered the Cohoe Street business and threatened the console operator with a knife demanding cash.
A 21-year-old Wacol man has been charged with robbery in company and four counts of trespass. He is expected to appear at the Toowoomba Magistrates Court today.
A 16-year-old boy from the Helidon area has been charged with robbery in company, four counts of trespass and one count of wilful damage of police property. He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred last night in Oxley.
Shortly before 10pm, a male and a female have entered a service station on Oxley Road armed with a machete.
They have made demands for cash, but the attendant has declined and the pair have left the business and it is believed they were last seen on William Terrace.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as being around 191cms tall, with an olive complexion and was last seen wearing a balaclava, a black top and blue track suit pants.
The woman is described as being around 165cms tall, of a slim build and was last seen wearing a black top and black pants.
Investigations are continuing.
Elizabeth Police have arrested one man and are making inquiries to locate a second man involved in the attempted robbery of a Smithfield service station overnight.
At about 2.30am, the two young men entered the service station and caused a disturbance.
One of the men then allegedly picked up a chair and threatened staff, demanding money. His demands were refused and he threw the chair, smashing the glass screen. The two men then left. No one was injured during the incident.
Police patrols attended and searched the area, locating one of the young men nearby.
The 19-year-old from Elizabeth Vale was arrested and charged with attempted aggravated robbery.
He was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.
The second suspect is still outstanding and police are making further inquiries to try to locate him.
