Police have released CCTV of a man following the robbery of chemist in Sydney’s south last month.

About 8.30am on Friday 11 October, a man entered the pharmacy on the Princes Highway at Rockdale and demanded money.

The man was holding a plastic bag and claimed to be armed with a weapon.

He stole drugs and cash before running away into the King Street mall. Nobody was hurt.

Police from Hurstville Local Area Command established a crime scene and have seized nearby CCTV.

It captures a man who might be able to assist with inquiries.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, chubby/large build, about 178cm tall, aged in his mid to late 30s, a small ‘Charlie Chaplin’ style moustache and wearing dark blue jeans, an unbuttoned dark blue shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, a dark blue hat with white writing on it and dark sunglasses.

Police have charged a man following an armed robbery at a Newmarket pharmacy earlier today.

It will be alleged a man entered the Enoggera Road business around 10.45am and produced what appeared to be a firearm demanding money and medication.

After taking cash and medication the man left the business.

A 30-year-old Everton Park man has been charged with armed robbery and is expected to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Elizabeth Police are investigating an armed robbery at an Elizabeth East Pharmacy a short time ago.

At about 1.50p,m  a man armed with knife threatened staff at a Pharmacy on Spruance Road, then stole medication and fled on foot.

The man was wearing dark clothing and carrying a black backpack

There are no reported injuries.

 

Detectives at Keilor Downs Embona Taskforce are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a pharmacy in St Albans this month.
Police have been told a man armed with a knife entered the pharmacy on Main Road East about 2pm on 5 October.
It is believed the robber approached the front counter and made demands for cash.
The man told the staff member, a 20-year-old woman, that he needed the money to care for his sick daughter.
He then fled the scene with a small amount of cash.
The offender was described as being around 170cm tall and was wearing dark clothing, a balaclava and gloves at the time of the incident.

Detectives are investigating an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Mulgrave on Tuesday.
It’s believed a man entered the Police Road store from the car park just after 4pm, displaying to staff a knife he had tucked into his pants.
He made demands for money then fled the store with a quantity of cash and was last seen running west on Portland Street.
The man described as Caucasian, 185-190cm tall, thin build, light coloured pants, dark coloured hooded top.
He had a black bandana/handkerchief covering his face, light coloured baseball cap and black shoes with a white trim.

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at a Pharmacy in Blakeview late this afternoon.

At about 5.15pm, a man entered the Main North Road store, threatened staff with a knife and demanded money.

The man ran off with an amount of cash.

Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

No one was physically injured.

The suspect is described as being a man of Caucasian appearance, approximately 180cm tall, medium build, wearing blue denim jeans, a white T-shirt and a black hooded jumper.

Investigations continue in relation to an aggravated robbery which occurred at a pharmacy in Tranmere on Friday 27 September.

At about 4.45pm, a man entered the Glynburn Road pharmacy, threatened staff with what appeared to be a gun and demanded drugs.

The man fled with a packet of prescription medication.  No one was injured.

Police have CCTV of the suspect and are seeking public assistance to help identifying the man responsible.

The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a an olive complexion, approximately 167cm tall, 40 years of age, medium build with dark brown-black hair.

He was wearing a bright orange high visibility vest and a beanie over the top of a baseball cap.

Detectives at Mill Park Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Lalor this afternoon.
Police have been told two men armed with a knife and pole entered the pharmacy on Mc Kimmies Road near Darebin Road about 3.30pm.
It is believed the pair threatened the attendant before both offenders allegedly stole the cash till.
The bandits then fled the scene with a small amount of cash and were last seen running south along Darebin Drive and Cleveland Drive.
The offenders both had their faces covered and were both wearing a dark hooded top with dark pants.

Altona North Armed Robbery Taskforce have conducted a four-month operation regarding a series of armed robberies in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
The alleged armed robberies took place at the following locations;
• A supermarket in Harrington Square, Altona on 10 May.
• A chemist on Hampstead Road, Maribyrnong on 18 June.
• A newsagency on Buckley Street, Aberfeldie on 19 June.
Today detectives arrested a 48-year-old man who is currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.

 Regional Investigation Unit officers are seeking assistance from the public in their investigation into an armed robbery that occurred at a pharmacy in Elanora Drive, Cooloongup at 1.30pm on Sunday September 1st 2013.

A male person entered the pharmacy armed with a syringe and threatened the 30 year old male staff member and demanded drugs and cash.

He was given a quantity of both which he put into a bag before he ran from the store.

The offender is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years, 172cm tall, slim build, goatee beard, wearing sunglasses, a brown or black hooded jacket.
