Regional Investigations Unit detectives have charged a man in relation to an armed robbery in Bentley on Sunday 6 November 1994. It will be alleged about 7:50pm a man entered a pharmacy on Albany Highway, Bentley armed with a firearm and demanded cash and drugs from a staff member. The staff member handed over an amount of cash and the offender left the store. Yesterday afternoon a man presented himself at the Cannington Police Complex and requested to speak to detectives about the incident. A 49 year old man from Stirling, who was 30 years old at the time of the incident, has been charged with Armed Robbery and will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, Thursday 24 January 2013.

Regional Investigations Unit detectives are seeking information regarding a robbery at a pharmacy in North Fremantle on Sunday 25 November 2012. At around 6pm a man entered the Leighton Beach Drive in Pharmacy on Stirling Highway and approached a female staff member. He demanded she open the safe and he stole numerous boxes of prescription drugs. The man then demanded the staff member open the cash register. He grabbed a quantity of cash from the register before rushing out of the pharmacy. The offender is described as being in his mid 20’s, fair skinned, about 185 to 190cm tall and of slim build. He was wearing a dark hooded jumper, dark pants and dark sunglasses. Police would also like to speak to a member of the public who was walking along Stirling Highway towards the Pharmacy when the offender left the store. Detectives are investigating if this robbery is linked to another robbery at a Pharmacy in Wembley on 4 November 2012.

Holden Hill Detectives have arrested a man allegedly responsible for an aggravated robbery at a chemist at Hope Valley last Thursday.

At about 9.20am, a man carrying a metal pole, threatened staff at the chemist and stolen the till.

Staff from the chemist followed the man on foot for a short time after he left the premises.

Police patrols searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Police arrested the man yesterday at an address at Elizabeth.

The 38-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with aggravated robbery and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at a later date.

Police have released images of two men they wish to speak to in relation to two burglaries that occurred at Eden Rise earlier this month.
The first incident happened on 6 November when two men broke into the Eden Rise Donut King shop and stole a cash box.
The burglary occurred at 1.15am when the men broke into the shop after forcing the front door.
The second incident happened on the 7 November when the same two men broke into the Eden Rise Pharmacy and stole a quantity of medication.
The pharmacy burglary happened just after midnight with the men gaining entry via the front door.
Investigators believe that the men may be driving a VE SS Commodore utility.

Regional Investigations Unit detectives have charged a man in relation to an armed robbery in Hilton on Wednesday 5 October 2011.

About 7:45pm a man entered the pharmacy on South Street, Hilton and approached the counter. He produced a large knife and demanded medications.

The staff member complied with the demands and the offender left the store with an amount of medications.

Detectives today executed search warrants in Leeming and Willagee, and arrested a 28 year old man from Willagee. He has since been charged with Armed Robbery and will appear in

the Fremantle Magistrates Court tomorrow, Friday 16 November 2012.

Regional Investigations Unit detectives have charged a man in relation to an armed robbery in Kenwick yesterday, Wednesday 14 November 2012.

About 3:50pm a man entered the Kenwick Pharmacy on Belmont Road, Kenwick wearing a motorcycle helmet. After being in the store for a number of minutes it will be alleged the man

approached the counter and threatened a staff member with what appeared to be a blood filled syringe, demanding medications.

The staff member complied with the demands and the man left the store with an amount of medications.

As the man left the store he was detained by another man who had become aware of the incident. Police attended and took him into custody, and he was then interviewed by

detectives from the Regional Investigations Unit.

A 28 year old man from Maddington has been charged with Armed Robbery and will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, Thursday 15 November 2012.

Regional Investigations Unit detectives are seeking information regarding a robbery at a pharmacy in Wembley on Sunday 4 November 2012.

A man approached the locked front door of the pharmacy covering his face with a plastic bag.

A staff member approached the door and he stated he had a blood nose. The staff member then opened the door and the man entered the pharmacy.

Once inside he demanded the staff member open the safe. During this time another customer approached the door and the staff member was instructed to let that person in, and

that person was then told to stay where they were.

The staff member, fearing for the safety of her other customer and herself, complied with the man’s demands and he left with an amount of medications and cash. He was last seen riding

away on a dark motorcycle.

The offender is described as being in his mid 20’s, fair skinned, about 185 – 190cm tall and of slim build. He was wearing a dark long rain jacket, dark pants and dark sunglasses.

Holden Hill police are currently searching the Hope Valley area after a man robbed a chemist on Grand Junction Road.

There were no injuries and the shop’s till has been recovered.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, about 30-years-old with a bald or shaved head, wearing a black leather jacket, khaki trousers and black nail polish on his fingers.

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery which occurred at a pharmacy this morning at Evandale.

At about 9.15am a man entered the Evandale Community Pharmacy on the corner of Portrush Road and Bakewell Road and threatened a staff member and demanded money.

The suspect was believed to be armed with a black semi-automatic pistol concealed in an open bag.

The suspect fled with an amount of money and was seen getting into the passenger side of a white sedan parked on Bakewell Street.

The suspect is described as a man of Caucasian appearance with tanned skin, with an average height and build.

He was wearing bright orange wet whether pants which had two silver reflective stripes below each knee, a thick black zip up jacket with a hood, dark glasses and black runners with black soles and a white stripe around the soles.

The firearm was not fully exposed.

The car the suspect fled in is described as a white late 1990’s- early 2000’s model Toyota Camry sedan.

A man has been charged following an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Bundilla yesterday morning.

About 11.40am, it is alleged that two men have entered the store on Brisbane Road with knives and have left business with a quantity of drugs.

Police have charged a 39-year-old Mooloolaba man with one count of armed robbery.

He was remanded in custody, and is due to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court tomorrow.
