Detective Senior Constable Russell Connor will provide an update on the investigation into the robbery of a pharmacy in Caloundra West on Friday morning.

Detectives investigating the robbery of a pharmacy in Caloundra West last week have released CCTV of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Investigators have released an image in an effort to identify the man responsible for an armed robbery at a Slade Point convenience store yesterday evening.

At around 9:24 pm an armed man (pictured) entered the Finch Street store brandishing a knife and demanded cash.

As he attempted to flee on foot, the man was confronted by a 20-year-old Slade Point man, and hr dropped some of the cash.

Police investigations are continuing.

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Slade Point convenience store yesterday evening.

Police are investigating after a service station was robbed in Redbank Plains early this morning.

Officers were called to a service station at 1.15am after a man entered the service station on Redbank Plains Road and approached the counter.

He produced a knife and threatened the attendant before demanding cash and cigarettes.

The male attendant complied, and the man fled the scene on foot and was last seen heading towards Argyle Street.

The attendant was not physically injured as a result.

The man is described as being around 185cms tall, Pacific Islander in appearance and had a solid build.

Anyone who has any information which may assist the investigation are being urged to contact police.

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at this morning at a service station on Brisbane Road in Dinmore.

A man entered the store at 4.25am and produced a knife before demanding cash and cigarettes.

The attendant complied and handed the man a sum of cash and cigarettes and was last seen on Brisbane Road.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The man is described as being around 185cms tall, Pacific Islander in appearance and had a solid build.

Anyone who has any information which may assist the investigation are being urged to contact police.

Police have charged a girl following investigations into an armed robbery on Ann Street early yesterday morning.

At around 1am three people entered a convenience store, allegedly armed with a knife, hammer and scissors and demanded cash and cigarettes.

It will further be alleged the trio then fled towards Roma Street, with a quantity of cash and cigarettes.

A 16-year-old girl was apprehended a short time later and has since been charged with one count of armed robbery.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.

Police have responded to an armed hold up of a convenience store on Ann Street tonight.

At around 1 am three people wearing dark clothing, entered the store armed with a knife, hammer and scissors and demanded cash and cigarettes.

The trio have fled with a quantity of cash and cigarettes towards Roma Street.

Two men and a woman were apprehended a short time later and are assisting police with their inquiries.  Cash and cigarettes were recovered from them

Police are investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred at Douglas (Townsville) this afternoon.

At about 12.50pm, a man entered a licenced premises on Riverside Boulevard and threatened to use a firearm against a staff member whilst demanding money.

The man fled the store a short time later with a sum of cash.

No one was injured during the incident.

Investigations are continuing.

Police have charged a man over the violent armed robbery of a licensed premises at Greenbank on December 1.

It will be alleged at 3.39am on Saturday, two masked men entered a tavern on Pub Lane, one armed with a hammer and the other with a shotgun.

It is further alleged that the men demanded cash from three employees – a 27-year-old man, a 25-year-old woman and their 26-year-old male supervisor – before one of the men struck the 26-year- supervisor in the head with the hammer.

The 26-year-old sustained a minor head injury and was transported to hospital in a stable condition. The other two employees were uninjured.

The armed men then allegedly fled the address in a vehicle, with a substantial amount of cash.

Around 11.30pm that night (Saturday December 1), police located a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander at Scott Lane, North Maclean, which had been allegedly stolen from a Harvey Bay residence around 2.50pm on November 29.

At the time, the vehicle was bearing incorrect registration plates, which had allegedly been stolen from a maroon 1998 Ford Falcon at Marsden on June 20.

It will be alleged that outside the vehicle, police located approximately half the cash stolen during the armed-robbery at Greenbank.

Yesterday afternoon, officers arrested a 23-year-old Wondunna man at Acacia Ridge.

Last night, he was charged with one count each of armed robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed, possessing tainted property and failing to take reasonable care in respect of syringe.

He is scheduled to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on December 7 (today).

Investigations into the identity and whereabouts of the second man are ongoing.

Police have released CCTV footage as part of an investigation into the armed robbery of a convenience store in Redcliffe on Saturday evening.

Around 7:20pm, a man entered a shop in Porter Street, produced a knife and demanded money. The man then took a quantity of cash and fled on foot, east along Porter Street.

The man is described as about 30 years of age, approximately 180cm tall, short brown hair, wearing a grey short sleeved t-shirt, black shorts with three white stripes down the leg and black shoes.
