Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station at Park Ridge in the early hours of this morning.

Around 2.00am, a man cycled to the front of the locked business on Chambers Flat Road on a red push-bike, then gained entry when the employee was removing rubbish from the store.

The man approached the front counter and waited for the employee to return from the bins, before producing a knife and demanding cash and cigarettes.

The attendant handed over cigarettes and lighters, but the robbery was interrupted when a delivery-truck driver pulled into the car-park.

The man fled the scene on his bicycle with multiple cartons of cigarettes and several lighters. He was last seen cycling towards Park Ridge Road.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 20s, tall, with a slim build. He was wearing black tracksuit pants, a black long sleeve shirt and black cap at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information as to the identity of this man is urged to contact police.

Detectives are investigating after an armed robbery at a convenience store in Chermside this afternoon.

At around 2:30pm three men entered the business on Gympie Road armed with knives and a brick.

One of the men threw a brick at a female staff member before the men threatened staff.

When staff fled to a secure room the men stole a handbag and a quantity of cigarettes.

The three men fled the scene and were last seen running towards Henry Street.

The female staff member was treated at the scene for a minor injury to the back of her head.

One of the men was last seen wearing a white t-shirt over his head, with a black t-shirt and black shorts.

The second man was last seen wearing a grey, long-sleeved t-shirt with black shorts, a black hat, and a white t-shirt over his head.

The third man was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with black shorts, a black hat and a black t-shirt over his head.

All of the men are described as approximately 175cm tall.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.

Police are investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred at Crestmead yesterday evening.

At about 11.40pm, a woman armed with a knife entered a service station on Julie Road and demanded cash from a staff member.

The woman fled the scene a short time later with a quantity of cash and other items of property.

No one was injured during the incident.

Investigations are continuing.

Police investigating the armed robbery of a licensed premises at Greenbank early this morning have released CCTV footage.

At 3.39am, two men entered a tavern on Pub Lane in Greenbank.

The men, one believed to armed with a hammer and the other armed with a shotgun, demanded cash from the 24-year-old male employee.

The armed men then fled the address in a vehicle, with a substantial amount of cash.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

Both men are similarly described as 180 centimetres tall, medium build, wearing runners, dark coloured track pants and long-sleeved hooded jumpers. Both had Australian accents.

Investigators would particularly like to appeal to anyone who may have dashcam footage of the area around Teviot Road at the time of the robbery, to contact police.

Police investigating an alleged armed robbery at Runcorn yesterday evening have charged one girl and six boys.

At about 8.30pm, it is alleged several teenagers attended a service station on Compton Road in a stolen vehicle.

It is alleged one of the juveniles used a hammer to smash the glass sliding door allowing the others to enter the business.

It is further alleged one of the juveniles removed a quantity of cash and other items of property prior to them all leaving in the stolen vehicle.

Not long afterwards, police and Polair located the stolen vehicle travelling south in the Logan division.

The stolen vehicle stopped in Herses Road, Eagleby where five male teenagers exited the vehicle and ran from the scene.

The five were tracked and located by Dog Squad officers and taken into custody without incident.

Polair continued to monitor the stolen vehicle before it stopped underneath an overpass on Armstrong Road, Loganlea. Police arrested the 14-year-old male driver and 13-year-old female passenger as they exited the vehicle.

A 13-year-old Eagleby girl, 13-year-old Marden boy, 14-year-old Woodridge boy, 13-year-old Camira boy, 15-year-old Loganlea boy, 14-year-old Kingston boy and a 13-year-old Kingston boy have all been charged with one count each of armed robbery in company and unlawful use of the motor vehicle.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police are investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred at Sunnybank Hills yesterday evening.

At about 10.30pm, three male persons, one armed with a brick, entered a licenced premise on Gowan Road and approached the service counter.

One of the males asked a staff member to open the cash register which he refused to do.

The three males exited the premises without taking any property and fled the scene.

No one was injured during the incident.

Investigations are continuing.

Police have responded to the armed robbery of a convenience store in Salisbury overnight.

At around 7:45 pm four people dressed in dark clothing, gloves and masks, entered the Lillian Avenue store armed with knives.

Two of the group jumped the counter while the other pair rain to the service area.

One of the group then assaulted a 17-year-old male staff member and demanded money and cigarettes.

The four fled the scene with a quantity of cash and cigarettes, driving away in a red hatch back.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have dashcam footage if they were driving in the area at the time to come forward.

Detectives investigating an armed robbery at Eagleby yesterday have released footage to try and identify a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Around 2.14am, a man entered a service station on River Hills Road and approached the counter with a number of drinks taken from the fridge.

He placed the drinks on the counter and pulled a knife from his shorts.

The armed man then demanded money and cigarettes from the attendant, and when they complied, he fled the scene on foot.

No one was injured as a result of the robbery.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 180cm, proportionate build, with dark hair and dark coloured facial hair.

The man was wearing dark coloured shorts with an Everlast logo, black jacket with assorted white and red stripes, red baseball cap and black runners.

Investigations are continuing.

Police investigating an armed robbery at Deception Bay have released footage to try and identify a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

On Friday November 16, a man entered a pizza store on Deception Bay Road armed with a steel bar.

He approached the counter and demanded money from the attendant, and when they complied, he fled the scene on foot.

No one was injured as a result of the robbery.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 180cms tall and had a slim build, shoulder length blonde hair and was last seen wearing a black hat, a light grey jumper and dark shorts.

Investigations are continuing.

 

Two people have been charged following investigations into two armed robberies in Brisbane overnight, including a burger store in Bridgeman Downs.

At around 8.20pm, it will be alleged a man walked into a burger store on the corner of Becketts Road and Saturn Crescent and threatened two female attendants with a knife, while demanding money.

The staff complied with the demands and the man left with a sum of cash.

It will further be alleged, at around 9.45pm, a man matching a similar description walked into a bottle shop on Leichardt Street, Spring Hill armed with a knife.

The man proceeded to make demands for money from the male attendant who complied, and the man left the address, allegedly with a sum of cash.

At around 3am, a vehicle was intercepted by police at Kedron and three men were taken into custody.

A 20-year-old Wavell Heights man and a 21-year-old Kedron man have both been charged with one count of armed robbery and are due to appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court today.
