Police are investigating an armed robbery in Rochedale South overnight.
At around 10.20pm on April 23, two men entered the Pannikin Street shop, and threatened the attendant with a firearm demanding cash.
The men ran from the shop with the stolen money a short time later.
The men are described as proportionate build wearing grey track suits, hoodie tops and black snuff masks.
The shop keeper was not physically injured.
Members from Fawkner Embona have arrested a Carlton man regarding a series of armed robberies.
The ten armed robberies took place at bottle shops and motels across the northern suburbs between December 2013 and this month.
Thomas Bufete has been charged with ten counts of armed robbery and a range of offences relating to a pursuit which occurred between Taylors Lakes and Brunswick yesterday.
The 22-year-old has been remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
Police are appealing for public assistance following an attempted armed robbery at an adult store at Liverpool overnight.
Shortly after 8pm (Thursday 24 April 2014), a man entered the store on George Street, and threatened the 44-year-old female employee.
He allegedly told the woman he had a knife, however, she did not see it.
The man demanded cash, but the woman refused.
He then fled after trying to open the register without success.
Police from Liverpool Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which was examined by the Forensic Armed Robbery Unit.
The man is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, 187cm tall with a solid build. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper, blue pants and work boots.
Police are investigating an armed robbery in Gladstone Road West End overnight.
At around 2.20am on April 18, two men entered the Gladstone Road shop, one man approached the counter and threatened the attendant with a tool demanding cash.
The second man remained at the door and kept the door open.
The men ran from the shop with money.
The shop keeper was not physically injured.
Police are appealing for public assistance following an attempted armed robbery at a postal outlet in West Footscray earlier this month.
A man entered the store on Sunshine Road around 5pm on Thursday 3 April.
Holding a knife and a plastic bag, he approached the store manager and made a demand for cash.
The staff member has refused and activated an alarm.
The man then left the store without any money and ran east towards Aliwal Street near the Tottenham Railway Station.
No one was injured during the incident and detectives from Altona North Embona Taskforce are now investigating.
The man is described as being between 20-30 years of age and perceived to be of Caucasian appearance with short light brown hair.
He has scabs on his cheeks and chin and red marks where it looked like he had picked or scratched his face.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a black hooded jumper with a white Everlast logo and dark coloured pants.
Investigators have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to in relation to the incident.

Police are appealing for information about and witnesses to an attempted armed robbery at the Hillcrest Newsagency in Montello, Burnie where two male offenders entered the shop about 7pm on Wednesday night.
The men were armed, one with a handgun and the other with a knife, demanded cash from the female staff member who was working alone in the shop at the time.
The cash had already been secured and the offenders fled empty handed.
It is unknown whether the offenders had access to a vehicle, or at this time, in which direction they went. They were both wearing stockings over their heads and hooded windcheaters with a large motif on the front, possibly a cartoon hand peace sign, blue track pants and white running shoes. The men are both of slim build, one slightly taller than the other.

Shortly before 9.30pm (Sunday 13 April 2014), two men entered the lobby of a motel on the Pacific Highway.
One of the men was wearing a scarf across his face, and carrying a baseball bat.
The men threatened the 56-year-old female concierge, demanding she hand over money.
After the woman complied, both men left the premises in a car being driven by a third person.
The car is described as being a VT or VS gold-coloured Holden Commodore sedan. It was last seen driving north along the Pacific Highway.
No-one was injured during the incident.
Police from Lake Macquarie Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
They would now like to speak with two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
One is described as being about 178cm tall, with a medium build, and wearing dark clothing.
The second man is described as being about 175cm tall, with a small build, and aged in his early 20s.
Police have charged a man following an armed robbery that occurred on April 4 in Berserker.
Around 8.15pm, a man entered an adult store on Musgrave Street and police will allege the man procuded a knife, forced the attendant into a back room and has taken a sum of cash.
A 33-year-old Berserker man has been charged with one count each of armed robbery and enter premises with intent to commit and indictable offence.
He is due to face the Rockhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow.
