Police are at the scene of an aggravated robbery at Para Hills. At about 5.20am, a man entered the Caltex service station on Bridge Road and demanded money. He stated that he had a firearm, which he had covered with a cloth. He escaped with an amount of cash and cigarettes. No one was injured during the incident. A man has been arrested after allegedly robbing a service station at St. Agnes earlier this afternoon. Just after 4.30pm, police were called to the Liberty service station on North East Road, after a man armed with a firearm threatened staff and stole cash and cigarettes. No one was injured during the incident. A green Holden sedan was seen leaving the area, and an extensive search led police to Birdwood, where they located the suspect and the car. The money and cigarettes were located inside the car, along with the firearm. A 51-year-old Mount Pleasant man will face charges of aggravated robbery, theft and possess a prescribed firearm. Detectives from Cobram Crime Investigation Unit have arrested and charged two men over an alleged armed robbery which occurred at a service station in Cobram on Sunday night.

Two local men, 27-year-old James Welsh and 19-year-old Bradley Watt, faced an out of sessions hearing last night.

Both were charged with armed robbery and were remanded to appear at Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 6 August.

Cobram Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a service station in Cobram last night.

Investigators have been told an offender wearing a balaclava and gloves entered the service station at the corner of Station Street and the Murray Valley Highway about 10.30pm.

The offender, believed to be a male and armed with a knife, made demands for cash from the female staff member.

The staff member complied and handed over an amount of cash and cigarettes.

The offender ran from the store and was seen running to an awaiting vehicle on Station Street.

The vehicle, which was driven by a second offender, was last seen travelling north along Station Street.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted armed robbery in East Nowra early this morning.

About 2.25am (Sunday 3 August 2014), an attendant, a 64-year-old man, was working at a service station on Kalandar Street, when a man entered the shop.

He approached the counter, threatened the attendant with a knife and demanded money.

The 64-year-old hit the man on the wrist with a metal pole. The man then left the location whilst continuing to threaten the attendant.

Police were contacted and Detectives from Shoalhaven Local Area Command attended commencing an investigation.

A crime scene was established and investigations are continuing.

Investigators are appealing or information about the incident and would like to speak to a man described as; aged about 40, wearing a dark blue hooded top, dark blue pants and fawn boots.

Police have charged two teenagers over the armed robbery of service station at Inverell this morning.

About 3.45am today (Tuesday 22 July), a number of males entered the service station on Warialda Road armed with knives.

They allegedly threatened the female employee and left the scene with cash and cigarettes.

Police from New England Local Area Command were called to the scene and following investigations arrested four males at a home on Girle Street.

Officers also seized two knives at the home.

Detectives have charged two of the males, aged 16 and 18.

They will face Inverell Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday 23 July) after being refused bail on charges of robbery armed with an offensive weapon.

The 18-year-old has also been charged with an attempted robbery at the rear of a pizza shop in Inverell last Sunday night.

The other two males arrested this morning have been released without charged at this stage.

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred overnight in Inala.

Around 11.30pm, two men have approached a service station on Rosemary Street.

One man, armed with a hammer, stood at the door and the second man entered the store and produced what appeared to be a firearm and made demands for cash.

The attendant has complied and handed the man a sum of cash.

The two men have then fled the store and were last seen on foot on Rosemary Street.

The attendant wasn’t physically injured during the robbery.

Both men had their faces covered and were last seen wearing long sleeved track suit tops.

Investigations are continuing.

Police will allege the man entered a service station on Broadwater Avenue around 3.20am, took a drink from the fridge and then produced a fire arm.

An 18-year-old Thornlands man has been charged with armed robbery and is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Around 3.20am, a man entered a service station on Broadwater Avenue, took a drink from the fridge and then produced what appeared to be a fire arm.

The attendant retreated to a room behind the counter and the man has then fled the scene.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 175cms and had a proportionate build.

He was last seen wearing light coloured pants, a black and grey hooded jumper and white sports shoes.

Police are also seeking information regarding a white sedan that was seen in the area with a large dent to the rear left door.

Investigations are continuing.

Shortly before 3.20am, a man has entered a service station on Broadwater Avenue and took a drink from a fridge.

He then approached the counter and produced what appeared to be a firearm.

The attendant retreated to a room behind the counter and the man has then left the business without any further incident.

The male attendant didn’t receive any physical injuries as a result of the incident.

Investigations are continuing.
