Police have released clearer CCTV images of a man wanted over a Magill service station robbery in the hope the public can help identify him.

A service station on Magill Road, Magill was robbed on Monday 7 July by a man armed with a knife. He is described as of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 20s, with a solid build and light brown hair.

He was wearing a long sleeved navy coloured top underneath a fluorescent ‘hi-vis’ vest, blue tracksuit pants and a brown coloured baseball cap with an ‘Everlast’ logo on it.

The man walked out of the service station with an amount of cash and was last seen heading east towards Vine Street, Magill.

Eastern Adelaide Detectives are investigating the robbery and are making an appeal to anyone that may know his identity to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at https://sa.crimestoppers.com.au/

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred overnight in Narangba.

Around 8.25pm, a man entered a service station on Mackie Road and produced a knife.

He demanded cash from the attendant who has compiled and put a sum of cash in a black bag the man was carrying.

The man has then fled the scene on foot and was last seen on Mackie Road.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 167cms tall and had a slim build.

He was last seen wearing a black balaclava, a hooded jumper and was carrying a black shoulder bag.

Investigations are continuing.

A man has been detained following an attempt armed robbery of a service station on Main North Road at Mawson Lakes. Police were called to the business just after 6am where a man allegedly threatened staff and left soon after. No staff were physically injured and no money or goods were taken at the time. Can you identify the man pictured? He is described as a man of Caucasian appearance, 20 – 30-years-old, a solid build, with light brown hair.

He was wearing a long sleeved navy coloured top underneath a fluorescent ‘hi-vis’ vest, blue tracksuit pants and a brown coloured baseball cap with an ‘Everlast’ logo on it.

At 6.12pm yesterday the man threatened the console operator with a knife and handed them a white plastic bag demanding money.

The man walked out of the store with an amount money and was last seen heading east towards Vine Street, Magill.

Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery at a service station on Warrigal Road in Cheltenham on Saturday night.

Detectives from Kingston Criminal Investigation Unit have been told a man wearing a balaclava and black gloves approached the entrance door of the service station around 9.45pm.

The offender, who was armed with a brick, tried to enter before a staff member locked the door.

The offender then pushed, kicked and finally threw the brick through the glass doors, hitting the staff member standing on the other side of the glass.

The offender failed to gain entry and ran off along Bernard Street.

The male staff member was treated for minor injuries.

The offender was wearing dark coloured track pants with two white stripes down the side, a white hooded jumper and white runners with a black strip up the sides.

He is described as around 170cm tall with a medium build.

Police have released CCTV of the man that they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Police are appealing for information following a spate of armed robberies in the Lake Macquarie area over the last month.

Between Monday 30 June and Tuesday 8 July 2014, a man armed with a large knife held up petrol stations and newsagencies in Belmont, Cardiff, Freemans Waterhole and Rathmines.

During the incidents the man threatened staff members with a knife, stealing cash and cigarettes before running from the scene. No one was injured during the robberies.

Police from Lake Macquarie Local Area Command were called to each business and established crime scenes which were examined by specialist forensic officers.

They also conducted searches of the area on each occasion; however, the man was unable to be located. Detectives are continuing investigations into the robberies and believe they are all linked.

They are looking for a man who has been described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 20s, about 180cm tall with a thin build and blond hair.

During the incidents the man has been described as wearing dark clothing, a balaclava and gloves.

* The attempted armed robbery of a service station on Freemans Drive, Freemans Waterhole about 8:50pm, Sunday 6 July 2014,

* The armed robbery of a service station on the Pacific Highway, Belmont North about 2:35am, Monday 7 July 2014,

* The armed robbery of a newsagent on Fishing Point Road, Rathmines about 5:40am, Monday 7 July 2014,

* The attempted armed robbery of a service station on the Pacific Highway, Belmont about 1:20am, Tuesday 8 July 2014; and,

* The armed robbery of a service station on Main Road, Cardiff about 2am, Tuesday 8 July 2014

Just after 6pm yesterday (Monday 7 July 2014), a man entered a service station on Hamilton Road with his face concealed.

The man approached the attendant – a 24-year-old man – and threatened him with a knife, demanding money.

He fled with cash and police were alerted.

No one was injured.

Officers from Fairfield Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene that was examined by specialist forensic officers.

An investigation is underway in an attempt to locate the man involved.

He’s described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 168cm tall, with a medium to large build.

Police have been told the man has a slight accent.

Officers are investigating links between this incident and similar armed robberies that have occurred in Smithfield and Merrylands recently.

Police are investigating an armed robbery at Smithfield, in Sydney’s west.

Just after 7pm yesterday (Saturday 5 July 2014), a man entered a service station at the corner of The Horsley Drive and The Cumberland Highway armed with a knife.

The man, who had his face concealed, approached the 31-year-old attendant and demanded money.

He fled with a small sum of cash and police were alerted.

Officers from Fairfield Local Area Command attended and commenced inquiries.

Police are appealing for public assistance in an attempt to identify and locate the man involved.

He’s described as being approximately 173cm tall and with medium to solid build.

Police are also investigating links between another armed robbery at the same location last week.

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a service station on Steve Irwin Way overnight.

At around 8.30pm, a man has entered the service station wearing a grey hooded jacket and a black ski mask.

The man produced a knife and demanded money and tobacco products from the attendant.

The man has fled the scene with the stolen tobacco products and a sum of cash and was last seen running towards Bowen Street.

The attendant wasn’t physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The man is described as 175cm tall, slim and Caucasian.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.

A 37-year-old Reid woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Saturday, June 28) charged with aggravated robbery and possession of a knife after she was apprehended following a robbery at the Coles Express Service Station in Mort St, Braddon yesterday afternoon.

Police will allege the woman entered the store just before 5pm. She produced a knife and threatened the console operator, then fled with a sum of cash. She was last seen riding off in the direction of Haig Park on a mountain bike.

ACT Policing patrols responded promptly and given a description of the alleged offender, began a search of the surrounding area.

In Henty St, Braddon, police located a woman matching the description of the offender and seized a bicycle as evidence.

The alleged offender was found to have a knife and cash hidden in her bra.

Around an hour after the offence occurred, the woman was placed under arrest and conveyed to the ACT Watch House where she was later charged.
