Police have arrested a man after a taxi driver was allegedly robbed in Acacia Ridge yesterday.
It will be alleged around 4.15pm a man was driven in a cab from Annerley to a hotel at Acacia Ridge before he demanded the male driver hand over cash from the till.
When the driver refused, the man allegedly produced a large knife and the passenger fled with cash.
Police attended the scene where a 26-year-old Inala man was arrested.
He was charged with one count of armed robbery and is scheduled to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court today.
Maryborough detectives investigating the attempted armed robbery of a convenience store in Torquay yesterday afternoon have released images of a man who may be able to assist police with their enquiries.
At around 3:30pm a man entered the business on Cypress Street carrying a metal bar.
The man demanded cash from a male staff member, who refused, before the man fled the location in a white older-model Toyota Hilux utility.
No one was physically injured during the attempted robbery.
The man (pictured) is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 30-40 years of age, of a medium build with short brown hair and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket with white stripes down the front, camouflage knee-length shorts and dark sunglasses.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
Police are investigating an armed robbery at a supermarket store at Morayfield yesterday evening.
At about 10pm, a man entered the store on Morayfield Road armed with a knife and demanded money and tobacco products from staff.
The man fled the store a short time later with a sum of cash.
The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 185cms tall with a solid build.
He was wearing a long-sleeved flannelette shirt with a grey t-shirt underneath, black shorts, thongs, grey beanie and a red coloured balaclava covering his face.
No persons were injured during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.

Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred in Woodridge this afternoon.
Officers were called to a grocery store on Smith Road at 5.35pm after a girl entered the business and approached the counter.
She made demands for money, and when the attendant did not comply, she lunched at him with a knife before fleeing the scene empty handed.
During the incident, the male suffered a laceration to his chest and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment of what are believed to be no-life-threatening injuries.
The girl was last seen wearing a dark hooded jumper and trousers and was last seen on Smith Road.
Investigations are continuing.

Just before 11pm, a man walked into the Mains Road business armed with a knife and demanded money. He then left the premises on foot with a sum of cash and crossed Mains Road towards Mulgowie Street.
The offender is described as Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall with a slim build.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
Police released a CCTV image of a man who may have witnessed the incident and may hold information important to investigators.
The man depicted in the image has since made contact with police and media outlets are requested to discontinue using this image in connection with this incident.

A man has been charged following investigations into the armed robbery of a convenience store in Fortitude Valley earlier this month.
It will be alleged around 2.20am on Thursday, August 2 the man entered the business on Ann Street and threatened an employee with a weapon resembling an electric conductive device before demanding money.
The attendant complied, and the man allegedly fled the shop carrying the till tray which contained a sum of cash.
A 37-year-old Southport man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and remanded in custody.
He is expected to reappear in the Southport Magistrates Court on August 28.
Police are investigating the armed robbery of a liquor store at Loganlea just after midday today.
Around 12.30pm a man with his face covered and armed with a machete has entered the Sarah Street business and demanded money.
The 63-year-old male store attendant emptied the contents of the till into a blue shopping bag the armed man was carrying.
The man also stole a bottle of alcohol from behind the counter.
The armed man is described as being aged possibly in his 20’s, 177 cm tall wearing black tracksuit pants, a black jumper and had a white material wrapped around his head.
