Detectives investigating the armed robbery of a service station at Kingaroy last night have released images of two people who may be able to assist with inquiries.
Just before 11pm, the pair walked into the Youngman Street business armed with garden tool and demanded money from the male attendant. The employee refused, and when they attempted to leave the premises the main glass door locked causing them to be stuck inside.
As a result, one of them took a fire extinguisher off the wall and smashed a freezer before the second used it to smash a glass door and large glass window.
The pair then crawled through a hole in the glass with a stolen charity tin before leaving in a black 2011 Ford Fiesta parked at the back of the service station, believed to have been stolen from a Murgon address.
The employee was uninjured during the incident.
Investigations indicate the same pair forced entry to a licensed premises in Fitzroy Street at Nanango a short time later where a number of bottles of alcohol were taken.
Police believe the two people pictured may have information to assist their investigations.
Anyone who may recognise them is urged to contact police.

It will be alleged around 9.20pm a man approached the business on Thozet Road riding a child-sized scooter.
He then went inside the store and entered a staff area where he allegedly threatened a 22-year-old female attendant with a nearby pair of scissors, demanding she open the till.
The woman complied and the man allegedly removed a sum of cash before demanding cigarettes.
The man then fled the store on the scooter with the money and cigarettes.
A 28-year-old Zilzie man was arrested yesterday and charged with armed robbery and is due to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on August 13.

Around 12.20pm, a man entered the Sarah Street premises and demanded money whilst threatening a staff member with a machete.
The man fled the scene a short time later on Burchill Street towards Brabant Street with a quantity of cash.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, approximately 175cm tall, medium build, wearing a white t-shirt wrapped around his head and black or dark coloured hoody with black shorts.
Investigations are continuing.

At about 11.30am, a man entered a business on Reservoir Road and demanded money whilst threatening a staff member with a knife.
The man fled the scene a short time later in a northerly direction with a quantity of cash and a customer’s wallet which had been placed on the counter by a customer.
No one was injured during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
Police have charged two teenage boys after the armed robbery of a drive-thru in Thuringowa overnight.
It will be alleged five people entered the High Range Drive business around 9pm and threatened a staff member with a fence paling and metal pole.
Police will further allege the group then left the store with a quantity of alcohol.
Around 12am police located three people at a residence in Heatley.
A 14-year-old Heatley boy has been charged with one count of armed robbery in company and enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence.
A 15-year-old Vincent boy has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count each of armed robbery in company, enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence and stealing.

Police have charged a woman following investigations into the armed robbery of a fast food outlet in Norman Gardens last night.
Around 10.30pm, a woman walked into the business on the corner of Farm Street and Yaamba Road and allegedly demanded cash while producing an item described as a paint scraper.
It will be alleged she received a sum of cash and then left the store on foot.
Officers located a woman nearby a short time later and she was taken into custody.
A 19-year-old Kawana woman has been charged with armed robbery and is due to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court today.
Police are investigating following the armed robbery of a convenience store in Fortitude Valley this morning.
Around 2.20am a man entered the Ann Street business, approached a 28-year-old male shop attendant and produced a weapon resembling an electric conductive device.
He then demanded the attendant hand over the store till.
The attendant complied, and the man fled the shop carrying the till tray which contained a sum of cash.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 165cms tall with a solid build and was wearing light coloured shorts, a dark t-shirt and a green army camouflage balaclava covering his face.
It is believed the man may have also been travelling in a silver Holden Astra (pictured).
Police are appealing for anyone with further information regarding the incident to come forward.

A man has been charged after allegedly robbing a Browns Plains service-station armed with a knife this morning.
It is alleged that the man entered the Browns Plains Road business around 7.45am, approached two female employees at the front counter and produced what appeared to be a knife, making demands for money.
The staff members complied with the demands and the man then allegedly ran from the store with a sum of cash, a carbonated energy drink and a lighter.
Police attended the scene and conducted patrols of the area, during which a man was located a short distance, at a park on Browns Plains Road, where he was arrested.
Further patrols located the alleged weapon discarded nearby.
A 24-year-old Loganlea man has now been charged with one count of armed-robbery.
He is due to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on August 15, 2018.
Mackay detectives have charged a third man in relation to the alleged armed robbery of a Mackay hotel on June 12.
It is alleged that two men entered a Wood Street business around 9pm with one of the men approaching the bar and revealing a firearm inside a bag. A note was handed over and cash demanded.
The pair fled out the Gregory Street entrance with a sum of money. They were seen entering a dark coloured sedan.
Around 3.35pm on July 28 police observed a man hiding in a storm drain behind an address on Tropical Avenue in Andergrove.
The man allegedly fled from officers who pursued on foot.
A cordon of the area was established and a man was arrested on Peter Court a short time later.
A 24-year-old Bucasia man was charged with armed robbery in company and obstruct police and was due to appear in Mackay Magistrates Court today.
