Police are investigating after reports of multiple ram raids within a shopping centre on Springfield Road in Blackburn North this morning.

Two men driving what is believed to be a white, late model utility have rammed entrance doors on the western side of the centre and gained entry about 2.20am.

It is believed the vehicle has entered the shopping centre, driven around inside and been used to ram entrance roller doors to two stores.

Cash and high-end electrical items were stolen from one of the stores however nothing was taken from the second store.

Roller doors to other stores and a freestanding ATM were damaged as a result of the vehicle being driven within the centre, however no entry was gained to these stores.

Detectives from Mill Park Serious Crime Team are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Bundoora earlier today.

Police have been told two men with their faces covered entered the supermarket on Grimshaw Street about 9.30am.

Both men approached a staff member, one producing a butterfly knife and the other, a kitchen knife, before making demands for cash.

The men fled the store with a cash register drawer which was later recovered nearby, containing the cash.

One of the men is described as about 180cm tall, perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black shoes with a white stripe.

The second man is described as about 175cm tall, also perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, wearing a black hoodie, black pants and white runners.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Police have charged four teenagers following alleged armed robberies in Seven Hills.

About 7pm yesterday (Tuesday 2 October 2018), four teenagers – aged between ­13 and 17 – allegedly assaulted an 18-year-old man at Seven Hills Railway Station.

The injured man was taken to Blacktown Hospital for treatment.

About 9.30pm it will be alleged the same group entered a fast food outlet on Boomerang Place, Seven Hills, and assaulted a 26-year-old man.

During the altercation, a knife was allegedly produced. The man was not physically injured.

About 9.35pm, the youths approached two men aged in their 20s at a shopping centre in Seven Hills.

The 24-year-old man was allegedly robbed at knifepoint before he was assaulted.

Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command were notified and arrested four teenagers nearby.

The teenagers were taken to Blacktown Police Station where they were charged.

A 13-year-old boy has been charged with larceny, robbery armed with offensive weapon, and common assault.

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with robbery armed with offensive weapon, and common assault.

A second 14-year-old boy has been charged with common assault, use offensive weapon with intent to commit indictable offence, and robbery armed with offensive weapon.

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with robbery armed with offensive weapon, and larceny.

All were refused bail to appear at a children’s court today (Wednesday 3 October 2018.

Inquiries continue.

Detectives from the Ipswich Child Protection and Investigation Unit have charged a 14-year-old boy following the alleged attempted armed robbery of a Riverview supermarket yesterday afternoon, (September 25).

It will be alleged a teenage boy entered the Mitchell Street business around 2.40pm armed with a knife. The youth demanded cash and cigarettes from two employees, a 38-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man. He fled the store empty handed when the pair refused to comply.

A 14-year-old boy from Brassall was later arrested and charged with one count of attempted armed robbery.

No one was physically injured.

Detectives from the Logan District Robbery Task Force have charged a man following investigations into an armed robbery at a Springwood takeaway shop on September 15.

Police will allege at around 7.20pm a man entered the business on Achillies Drive and approached the counter.

He allegedly produced a replica handgun, threatened a male employee and demanded money before fleeing the scene with a sum of cash.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

At around 12:45pm this afternoon police took a man into custody at an address in Rochedale South.

A 24-year-old Rochedale South man has been charged with armed robbery.

He is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 18.

Detectives are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Springwood takeaway food shop last night.

At around 7.20pm a man entered the business on Achillies Drive and approached the counter.

He then produced what appeared to be a replica handgun, threatened a male employee and demanded money.

The man stole a sum of cash before fleeing the premises on foot.

No one was injured during the incident.

The man is described as Pacific Islander in appearance with a New Zealand accent, solid build and was wearing a black bucket hat with a green logo on it, black long sleeve shirt, light coloured knee-length shorts and black runners.

Investigations are continuing.

Detectives from the Logan District Robbery Taskforce have charged a man following ongoing investigations into the alleged attempted robbery of a Crestmead grocery store on June 28.

It will be alleged that shortly before 8pm, a man entered the business on Julie Street armed with a small axe.

He allegedly threatened the attendant with the axe and demanded cash before the attendant then threw a number of cans of tuna at him.

The man fled the scene on foot empty-handed.

No one was physically injured as a result.

A 23-year-old Kingston man was today arrested and charged with attempted armed robbery and two counts of fraud.

He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow (September 13).

It will be alleged just after 6pm a man threatened a female employee demanding she hand over cash at the Bryant Street store.

The attendant complied, and the man fled the scene with a sum of cash.

This afternoon police located a man at a Bryant Street residence in relation to the incident.

A 26-year-old Tully man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and will appear in the Innisfail Magistrates Court tomorrow, September 12.

Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a supermarket in Tully last night.

Just after 6pm a man produced a knife and demanded a female employee hand over cash at the Bryant Street store.

The attendant complied and the man fled the scene with a sum of cash.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged in his 20s with a slim build.

He was wearing a red and black hooded jumper, black pants, white running shoes and carrying a green backpack.

Anyone with information regarding the matter is urged to contact police.

Detectives are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Mount Warren Park supermarket last night.

Just after 8pm, the man entered the Mount Warren Boulevard business armed with a hammer and approached the counter.

He then threatened a female employee and demanded cash.

The man stole a sum of cash and several packets of cigarettes before fleeing in a silver coloured vehicle.

No one was injured during the incident.
