Police have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries following an armed robbery in Campbelltown earlier this year.

About 4.50pm on Saturday 25 June 2016, a man armed with a knife entered a beauty salon on Queen Street and demanded money from employees and customers.

He fled the scene a short time later taking a handbag. The man was last seen running from Queen Street to Campbelltown Arcade. No one was injured during the incident.

Officers from the Metropolitan Robbery Unit have been conducting investigations into the incident and as they continue their inquiries, they would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of slim build and tall. The man was last seen wearing a white hooded jumper, long pants and was carrying a high-visibility jumper.

A pizza delivery driver was threatened with a hand gun during an armed robbery in Sydney’s west last week.

About 8.50pm (Wednesday 30 November 2016), an 18-year-old man attended a home on Montana Way, Macquarie Fields, after being called for a delivery.

Police have been told as he approached the home, a man standing near the front fence threatened him with a hand gun and demanded the pizzas and money.

The delivery driver complied and left the scene.

Officers from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries.

Police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist their investigations.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 45-years-old to 50-years-old, of slim build, wearing a black hooded jumper and grey pants.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward.

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a pizza delivery man at Woodridge on Friday night.

Around 11pm, the 19-year-old man was delivering pizza on his bicycle when he was approached by two men on Smith Street.

One of the men produced a knife before demanding cash and the delivery man’s mobile phone.

The men fled on foot are were last seen heading in a westerly direction on Smith Road.

The delivery man was not physically injured.

Both men are described as Caucasian, early 20s with a slim to proportionate build.

One of the men was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper covering his face and dark pants.

The other man wore a green singlet, balaclava and white shorts with a black stripe on the side.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries, following an armed robbery in Edensor Park overnight.

About 8:55pm (Saturday 26 November 2016) a man entered a store on Smithfield Road, Edensor Park.

Police will allege the man threatened a staff member with a knife, before running from the scene taking a sum of cash.

The man was last seen running in a westerly direction along Smithfield Road.

Officers attached to Fairfield Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Police would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 20 to 30-years-old, 178cms tall, slim build, with red hair. He was wearing blue/yellow polo shirt, grey cap, grey pants, white joggers, carrying a blue cooler bag.

Detectives have charged a man following the alleged armed robbery of a business in Maryborough earlier today.

It will be alleged at about 1.30pm a man entered the Lennox Street store carrying a tomahawk and demanded money.

The staff member complied and the man left the store with a sum of money.

Police located the man a short time later in Fort Lane and he was arrested.

A 32-year-old Maryborough man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is expected to appear in the Maryborough Magistrates Court on Monday November 21.

Police are seeking assistance from the public to identify two men in relation to an aggravated robbery at North Terrace, Adelaide on Sunday 8 May 2016.

Police will allege that at about 3.20am, two men were walking along North Terrace when they were approached by a group of three men. The group assaulted the two men and demanded cash.

One of the men handed over his wallet, and the trio fled east along North Terrace.

The victims were not injured.

Robbery suspects

Extensive enquiries have led police to identify one of the three suspects, but the two men pictured are still wanted by police. The identified man has been interviewed and reported by police.

The first suspect is described as Caucasian, aged in his late 20’s, 170cm tall, chubby build, short dark hair, short goatee beard, and was wearing a white button up shirt and light blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as Caucasian, aged in his late 20’s, 180cm tall, thin build, light coloured blonde/red hair, short cut hair balding on top, light unshaven facial hair and was wearing a white button-up shirt and light blue jeans.

Police have charged one man and investigations are continuing following an alleged armed robbery in Sydney’s west.

Just after 6pm on Wednesday 23 November 2016, two men entered a business on Discovery Avenue, Willmot.

It will be alleged the two men produced a knife and a firearm and threatened staff members and demanded cash. The men fled with scene with a small sum of money and cigarettes.

Police attached to Mt Druitt Local Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.

About 2pm yesterday (Thursday 24 November 2016), a 30-year-old man attended Mt Druitt Police Station where he was charged with armed robbery in company, drive while disqualified and failure to disclose driver and passenger of vehicle.

He was refused bail to appear at Mt Druitt Local Court today (Friday 25 November 2016).

Investigations into the incident are ongoing

Police are appealing for witnesses following the armed robbery of a delivery driver south of Wollongong overnight.

About 8pm (Sunday 20 November 2016), a 22-year-old delivery man was delivering a food order to a home on Nyan Way, when he was confronted by two unknown males, one who was armed with a knife.

The males demanded money and the food. The delivery driver handed over cash and the food, before they ran away towards Wegit Way.

The delivery driver returned to work and reported the incident to police.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command attended and are now searching for two males that they believe can assist with their investigation.

They are both described as being Caucasian and approximately 15 to 17 years old.

One male was about 185cm tall, had a medium build and shoulder-length blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a black and white coloured jacket.

The other male was about 160 cm tall with short brown hair and a grey cap.

Armed Crime Squad detectives have today arrested a man following the theft of $2.4 million during an armed robbery on an Armaguard van at Richmond back in 1994.

Investigators executed a search warrant at a Seddon property about 7am this morning.

A 59-year-old man was arrested is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

The arrest relates to an armed robbery that occurred on the on-ramp to the South Eastern Freeway on 22 June 1994.

Five armed men allegedly dressed as road workers, held up an Armaguard van and stole approximately $2.4 million in cash.

Three males have been charged following an alleged series of armed robberies in Melbourne’s north yesterday.

The alleged incidents took place at a jewellery store in Lalor and a tobacconist in Preston.

The three were arrested following a pursuit that ended on the West Gate Bridge just before 5.30pm yesterday.

A 17-year-old Cranbourne north boy and a 17-year-old Cranbourne boy have been charged with numerous offences including armed robbery, burglary, theft of motor vehicle and reckless conduct.

They have both been remanded to appear in a children’s court.

An 18-year-old Hampton Park man has also been charged with numerous offences including armed robbery, burglary, theft of motor vehicle and reckless conduct.

He has been remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later today.
