Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a store in Redcliffe today.

Shortly before 3.30pm, a man entered the Oxley Avenue business and threatened the female employee with a knife while demanding money from the cash register.

The man took the contents from the till before fleeing the store.

The staff member was not injured during the incident.

The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall with a proportionate build.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have seen any suspicious behaviour at the time or has further information to come forward.

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a store in Zillmere earlier tonight.

At around 6pm, a man entered the Zillmere Road address and grabbed a female attendant by the shoulder while demanding money from the cash register.

He then produced a weapon resembling a pistol and threatened the male store keeper.

The man took the contents from the till before fleeing the scene on foot towards Handford Road.

Police would like to speak to a man described as approximately 175 centimetres, Caucasion with an olive complexion, aged in his mid-20s with a slim build, and brown curly hair.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen any suspicious behaviour at the time or has further information to come forward.

Police are appealing for public assistance after a robbery at a tobacco store in Sunbury earlier today (18 September).

It is believed three men entered the store on Evans Street, wearing balaclavas over their faces about 7.20am.

The main offender jumped over the service counter and grabbed the female store attendant by the hair, forcing her to open two registers, demanding cash.

Two other men went into a rear storeroom and loaded a large amount of cigarettes into a blanket.

They also forced their way into a rear office area and stole cash located inside, as well as the victim’s handbag.

The three men ran from the store and got into a black Holden Cruze sedan, bearing registration AAI-002.

As they attempted to leave the scene, the offenders collided with another vehicle and sustained substantial damage to the front passenger-side door.

The vehicle has since been sighted on the Tullamarine Freeway, in the vicinity of the airport and was last seen travelling north along Pascoe Vale Road towards Craigieburn.

The victim, a 51-year-old Sunbury woman was not injured during the incident.

Hume Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating and are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage in the area.

Detectives from Kingston Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance after a man attempted to rob a Clayton South business earlier this month.

Police have been told a man wearing a balaclava entered the business on Graham Road just after 5pm on Tuesday 7 August.

He then approached a staff member and produced a knife before making demands for cash.

The victim advised there was no money in the till and the man fled the scene empty-handed.

No one was injured during the incident.

It is believed the offender ran to a silver Subaru Impreza waiting nearby.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 175cm tall and was wearing a high visibility blue and green long sleeve shirt.

Investigators have released CCTV and images of a man and a vehicle that may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred in Woodridge this afternoon.

Officers were called to a grocery store on Smith Road at 5.35pm after a girl entered the business and approached the counter.

She made demands for money, and when the attendant did not comply, she lunched at him with a knife before fleeing the scene empty handed.

During the incident, the male suffered a laceration to his chest and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment of what are believed to be no-life-threatening injuries.

The girl was last seen wearing a dark hooded jumper and trousers and was last seen on Smith Road.

Investigations are continuing.

Police have released CCTV footage and are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery at Strathfield in July.

Just after 3.30pm on Tuesday 10 July 2018, a man entered a bakery on Concord Road and produced a knife, threatening a staff member.

The man demanded money before being confronted by a customer and leaving.

He was last seen walking north along Concord Road.

No one was physically injured.

Investigators have now released CCTV of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The man shown is described as being mid to late twenties, about 170cm tall, of slim build, with black hair.

He is depicted wearing a black jumper, dark coloured long pants, a black scarf partially covering his face, and wearing socks and no shoes. He was carrying a black handled knife.

Inquiries are continuing.

Detectives are investigating an armed robbery at a business in Loganlea earlier today.

Around 12.20pm, a man entered the Sarah Street premises and demanded money whilst threatening a staff member with a machete.

The man fled the scene a short time later on Burchill Street towards Brabant Street with a quantity of cash.

No one was injured during the incident.

The man is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, approximately 175cm tall, medium build, wearing a white t-shirt wrapped around his head and black or dark coloured hoody with black shorts.

Investigations are continuing.

Detectives from Knox Crime Investigation Unit have released images of a man they are searching for following an armed robbery in Boronia in June.

The man entered the store at Alchester Village about 1.20pm on Tuesday, 26 June.

He then approached the male staff member at the counter and opened a shopping bag, which contained an edged weapon.

The man made a demand for cash and after receiving a quantity, left the store.

The woman was not physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his late 20 and about 175cm tall with short dark hair.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a long-sleeved high-vis top with a Reece Plumbing t-shirt over the top, dark coloured pants and dark sunglasses.

He also had blue latex gloves on.

Investigators have released two images of the man they wish to speak to and are appealing for anyone with information about his identity or the incident to come forward.

Detectives have released CCTV footage as investigations continue into two armed robberies of brothels in Sydney’s south-west earlier this year.

Just before 2am on Monday 15 January 2018, three men – one armed with a firearm – entered a business on Birmingham Road, Villawood.

The men threatened employees, before stealing cash and mobile phones.

During the incident, a 56-year-old man was assaulted. He sustained minor injuries to his arms and lip.

In a separate incident, about 3am, three men – one armed with a firearm – entered a business on Lancaster Street, Ingleburn.

They threatened a 58-year-old male employee, before taking cash and fleeing the scene.

Crime scenes were established at both locations and examined by specialist forensic officers.

Detectives from the Robbery and Serious Crime Squad established Strike Force Moogerah to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incidents, which they believe are linked.

Investigators have since seized two paintball guns during a search warrant in the Fairfield area, which are believed to have been used during the robberies. They are undergoing forensic examination.

As their inquiries continue, Strike Force Moogerah detectives have released CCTV footage and images of three men they believe may be able assist with inquiries.

The men are depicted as being of Pacific Islander appearance, aged in their late teens or early 20s, and wearing baggy clothing.

Strike force detectives are appealing for anyone who recognises the men or has information relevant to the investigation to contact police.

A man will face court charged after two armed robberies in Coffs Harbour.

About 4.40pm on Thursday (5 July 2018), a man, armed with a meat cleaver, allegedly entered a store in Park Avenue and threatened an employee.

He allegedly stole cash before fleeing the scene on foot.

No one was injured during the incident.

About 7.40am on Monday (9 July 2018), a 20-year-old woman was walking through an arcade on Park Avenue when she was approached from behind by a man.

The man allegedly hit the woman in the face and threatened her with a screwdriver before leaving the scene with her bag.

Officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District attended both incidents and investigations were launched.

The woman did not sustain any physical injuries.

Following inquiries, police arrested a 34-year-old man at a home on Albany Street, Coffs Harbour, about 9.40am yesterday (Tuesday 10 July 2018).

He was taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station where he was charged with two counts of robbery armed with offensive weapon.

The man was refused bail and will appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court today (Wednesday 11 July 2018).
