Police are investigating an armed robbery which occurred earlier this evening.
At about 9.25pm, two men entered through the rear of a fast food outlet on Alfred Street and confronted the manager with a knife.
The men demanded that the manager handover money and then left the premises on foot, with a sum of cash.
The men are described as having accents and were wearing jeans and hoodies.
Police investigations are continuing.
Police have released CCTV images of a person who they believe can assist with their investigation into the robbery of a fast-food establishment on Hank Street, Heatherbrae last month.
About 5.50pm, Tuesday 25February 2014, two shop attendants, a 21-year-old woman and 15-year-old girl, were in the store when a man approached the counter.
The man threatened the 21-year-old with a knife who handed over a sum of cash, before he fled.
Police were contacted and officers from Port Stephens Local Area Command attended establishing a crime scene.
The person in the images is described as an adult male of Caucasian appearance, mid twenties, clean shaven, about 183cm tall, with a slim build, and wearing a black/grey hooded jumper, blue shorts, white sneakers and dark sunglasses.
The crime scene was examined by specialist officers and detectives commenced an investigation.
Investigators are now appealing for anyone with any information in relation to the incident to contact the authorities.
Police are investigating an aggravated robbery which occurred overnight at Darlington. Just before 11pm, a man wearing a balaclava entered the Subway restaurant on Main South Road, allegedly armed with a hammer and threatened staff. He left on foot with an amount of cash and was last seen crossing South Road towards the parklands. He is described as being Caucasian, aged in his 20’s and wearing a dark hooded top with a white motif on the left side, black shoes and black pants. A search failed to locate the suspect. Police are investigating the armed robbery of a restaurant in Gin Gin early this morning.
Around 12.20am, two men entered the Mulgrave Street business and threatened two female employees with a baton and a machete before fleeing the scene with a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
Police are investigating after the armed robbery of two fast-food outlets in Sydney yesterday.
About 2.20pm (Thursday 6 March 2014), a man armed with a screwdriver entered a fast-food restaurant on Canterbury Road, Lakemba and jumped the counter.
The man, who had his face concealed, threatened staff members before leaving the shop with cash.
He was seen leaving in a stolen blue Ford Laser with NSW registration SPB-074.
About ten minutes later, a man entered a fast-food restaurant on Liverpool Road, South Strathfield.
Police have been told the man threatened staff members with a screwdriver before leaving on foot with cash.
No one was injured during either incident.
Officers established crime scenes at both locations that were examined by forensic specialists.
After speaking to witnesses at both crime scenes, police obtained a similar description of the man involved; Caucasian appearance, between 30-35 years of age, about 165-175cm tall, with a medium build, short dark hair, wearing a grey long-sleeved top and dark pants.
Police are investigating both incidents and the possibility they may be linked.
The stolen Ford Laser remains outstanding and anyone who sights the vehicle is asked not to approach it, but instead contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.
Police are investigating following two armed robberies at Armidale.
In the first incident, about 10.20pm (Tuesday 4 March 2014), three men with their faces covered entered a fast-food outlet on Queen Elizabeth Drive and jumped the counter.
The trio allegedly threatened three staff members with knives and took cash, including some from a female staff member’s handbag, before fleeing.
During the second incident, about 5am today (Tuesday 4 March 2014), a 22-year-old woman pulled into the car park of a fast-food restaurant on Marsh Street.
As she got out of her car she was approached by three men, only described as wearing dark clothing with their faces concealed.
Police have been told the woman was threatened by the men, one of whom who was armed with a knife.
The men demanded property and the woman handed over her car keys.
The trio left in her vehicle, described as a red Holden Commodore sedan with NSW registration KR-42-NK.
No one was injured in either incident.
Crime scenes were established at both locations and examined by specialist forensic officers.
Police from New England Local Area Command are investigating both incidents and whether or not the two robberies are linked.

Police have released the name and photo of a man wanted by arrest warrant for revocation of parole and who is also suspected of being involved in a number of armed robberies on fast food outlets across Sydney.
An arrest warrant for breach of parole has been issued for the arrest of Anthony Mobberley, 31.
Police would also like to speak to him about a number of armed robberies over the past month.
Police from the Metropolitan Robbery Unit have formed Strike Force Kegit after fast food outlets were robbed at St Peters, Lidcombe, Ashfield, Smithfield, Bass Hill and Bexley.
On each occasion the robberies have involved staff being threatened with a screwdriver.
During the armed robbery at a fast food premises on the Princes Highway at St Peters on February 5, a white hockey mask was used as a disguise.
Police are concerned the incidents are escalating and have sought assistance from the public for information about the robberies or the location of Anthony Mobberley.
Anthony Mobberley is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a slim build, fair complexion, brown eyes and brown hair.

About 2pm today (Sunday 2 March 2014), a man entered the restaurant on Bridge Road and approached staff members, telling them he was armed.
The man demanded money before fleeing with a large sum of cash.
Police were alerted and officers from Newtown Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
Detectives are investigating the incident and appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance and was wearing a green shirt, jeans and a yellow hat.
Police have released CCTV footage following the armed robbery of a fast food outlet in Warrawong last year.
About 10.15pm on Saturday 10 August, 2013, two men armed with a wooden object and a metal bar entered the outlet on King Street and threatened staff.
One of the men struck a 19-year-old male employee with the wooden object, knocking him to the ground.
The pair fled the scene a short time later with cash in two black bags.
The injured man did not require any medical treatment.
Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Local Area Command established a crime scene at the location, which was examined by specialist forensic officers and detectives.
Inquiries into the matter are continuing and police have now released CCTV footage and associated still images of two men, who may be able to assist in their investigation.
The first man depicted in the footage is described as being about 165cm tall and of a medium build. He’s shown wearing a black jacket with a red stripe on the back, black track pants and white sneakers.
The second man depicted is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance, about 25-35 years of age, around 175cm tall and of a solid build. He’s shown wearing a dark blue hooded jumper and three-quarter length grey pants, with another pair of pants/tights underneath
Both men are also shown wearing grey-coloured balaclavas.
Anyone who knows the identity of either man or has any information that could assist police is urged to come forward.
Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at Wyoming yesterday.
Just before 7pm (Monday 24 February 2014), a man armed with a knife entered a sandwich shop on the Pacific Highway and demanded money from two boys aged 14 and 16 years.
The man fled the scene with cash a short time later.

They are wishing to speak to a man who may be able to assist them with their inquiries.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 185cm tall, 17-25 years old, and was seen wearing black track pants a dark hooded jumper and a white t-shirt.
