Holden Hill Police are investigating a robbery at a Prospect business last night.
Police were called to the Churchill Road massage parlour just after 10.30pm after the victim reported she had been confronted by two men armed with a knife, outside the premises, who then entered the office and stole cash.
The victim was not physically injured during the incident.
The first suspect is described as aged about 30 years, clean shaven, 183cm tall, with a dark complexion. The second suspect is of Caucasian appearance.
Police searched the area with the assistance of Police Dog Bosco, but to no avail.
Police are appealing for information after the armed robbery of a finance business in Hurstville yesterday evening.
Shortly after 6.30pm (Thursday 26 March 2015), a man entered the premises on Forest Road and threatened a staff member with a firearm while demanding cash.
The staff member removed a cash tray from a drawer and placed it on a counter before running to a secure staff area at the rear of the premises.
She was not injured during the incident.
The man took cash and fled the location; he was last seen running east along Forest Road toward Hurstville Railway Station.
Officers attached to St George Local Area Command were alerted and launched an investigation into the incident.
A crime scene was established and examined by detectives and specialist forensic officers.
Police also conducted extensive patrols of the surrounding area; however the man was not found.
Inquiries into the matter are continuing and police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist in the investigation.
The man is described as being of Asian appearance, about 40-50 years of age and was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, with a green-coloured surgical mask covering his mouth and nose.
Police have charged a man following an alleged attempted armed robbery in Wagga Wagga yesterday.
About 12.30pm (Tuesday 24 March 2015), a 66-year-old woman was working at the counter of a newsagency on Bourke Street, Tolland, when a man entered the shop.
He allegedly threatened the woman with a knife, demanding cash.
A 37-year-old man who was working out the back heard what was happening and came into the shop. The other man then ran off empty-handed.
The man and woman from the shop followed and saw him enter a car on Joyes Place before it drove away.
Police were contacted and officers from Wagga Wagga Local Area Command attended, commencing an investigation.
No-one was injured during the incident.
Inquiries led police to attend a home on Condon Avenue, Mount Austin.
A 22-year-old man was arrested at the location and a number of items were seized, including a knife.
The man was taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station and was charged with attempted armed robbery whilst armed with offensive weapon and an outstanding warrant for unrelated matters.
He was refused bail to appear at Wagga Wagga Local Court today (Wednesday 25 March 2015).
Two men and a boy have been charged following an armed robbery at Kawana yesterday.
At 8pm, it will be alleged a 17-year-old Currimundi man was approached by three males at a Point Cartwright Drive shopping centre.
It will be further alleged one member of the group was armed with a knife and made demands for money and a phone.

The man was seen to be holding a metal object in one hand and a lighter in his other hand.
The shop attendant has complied with the man’s demands and the man has then left the store with a sum of cash.

Police from Bankstown Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the robbery of a massage centre in Bankstown yesterday.
Shortly after 4pm (Monday 16 March 2015), a man armed with a handgun entered a massage centre on Restwell Street where 51-year-old woman was working with another 42-year-old female employee.
The man threatened the older woman with the pistol and demanded cash.
The woman handed the man a sum of cash and he ran from the area.
Police were called and a crime scene was established while detectives commenced a full investigation.
The man has been described to police as being of Asian appearance, aged between 30-35 with a slim build and short black hair. He was wearing a dark blue short-sleeve polo shirt, blue denim jeans with black shoes with white soles and carrying a black/brown coloured bag or satchel over his shoulder.
Police have arrested a man as they continue to investigate an armed robbery of an automobile shop in Mayfield West last year.
About 6pm, Friday 26 December 2014, a man entered an automobile store on Maitland Road, armed with a firearm.
Police have been told he allegedly threatened staff, before leaving the scene, taking cash. No one was injured during the incident.
It’s believed a motorbike was parked on grassland adjacent to Maitland Road, and a man stood with the bike, while the alleged robbery took place.
The armed man was seen to flee the scene on the motorcycle as a pillion passenger, travelling through Warabrook before crossing a railway line via an overhead walkway, into grounds of a university.
It’s believed the pillion passenger got off the bike on Vale Street, Birmingham Gardens, and ran across Sandgate Road, where he met the rider and again got onto the bike and rode from the area.
Early investigations have led police to believe the motorbike was also in the Shortland area both before and following the offence.
Officers attached to Newcastle City Local Area Command were notified and commenced investigations.
Today (Monday 16 March 2015), police arrested a 22-year-old Lambton man.
He was taken to Newcastle Police Station where he was charged with robbery armed with dangerous weapon. He has been refused bail, to appear at Newcastle Local Court tomorrow (Tuesday 17 March 2015).
As police continue their inquiries, they would like to speak to a man who is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late 20s/early 30s, with a large number of tattoos on his left arm and leg.
As the alleged offence occurred on Boxing Day, it is believed there may have been a large number of witnesses in the area at the time. Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police are urged to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers.

About 4.50pm (Friday 13 March 2015), a man allegedly armed with a silver coloured pistol entered a therapy clinic on George Street and threatened staff.
Staff complied with his demands and he was handed an amount of cash before leaving.
A short time later the man entered a brothel a short distance away, also on George Street. He again threatened staff with a pistol and demanded cash.
Staff complied with his demands and he was handed an amount of cash before running away.
No one was injured during the incidents.
Police from Burwood Local Area Command attended and established crimes scenes at the two premises that were examined by specialist forensic officers. Inquiries are continuing.

Around 12.40am a man armed with a hand gun entered the shop and threatened the male attendant demanding money.
